• The cioppino is so good. Here's a life hack: if you want skip the long line, they sell buckets of frozen cioppino in the store and it tastes just as good at home.

• Fabulous seafood but... ridiculous lines that extend to the parking on weekends, even as late as 16:00. I love Phil's but no restaurant is worth a 2h wait. Open a few more registers already!

• Despite the obvious, the clams with garlic is amazing. Drizzle lemon juice in the broth for the extra acidity, and dip your toasted bread in it - yum!
