Come on Tuesday for Harry Fontana & the Tennessee Tone Boys! They're a great rockabilly band that'll bring you back to the 1950s! They're very danceable. Food is good and cheap, but also slow.
by Nicholas B.
B'way Staple - best Hony Tonk on the strip..... If you want to mingle with the locals and listen to great music. This is the spot! <3 <3 <3 Oh- and they have cowboy boot Koozies - $5!!
by Violet L.
This is an interesting place. It has a very original vibe, so to speak. I recommend it because it transcends it's status as a honky-tonk, which it certainly is. It's just a cool place to be.

Danny Donato with Don Kelly Band just melted my face off.

They'll give you a menu, then when you try to order tell you they won't serve you food. Has happened more than once. Used to be my favorite bar. Now I seldom go there.
by Faith S.
Wednesday is the best night of the week there. The caliber of musician is high and the weekend crowds haven't arrived yet.

Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. The best bar/western-wear store in Nashville. Historic spot that launched the best band you've never heard of: honky-tonkers BR549.
Beer is the same price here an everywhere else on Broadway. Plus PBR and Busch Light are always cheap here. Get a grilled cheese and sweet potato fries!
