I was sorely dissapointed in this restaurant. The food was mediocre; the service disinterested, sub par and a bit sarcastic. The atmosphere (i.e. decor) was the only thing decent about this place. Indeed, it put a damper on my vacaction as it was the last place we had dinner in.Wil

One of my favorite New Orleans spots! It is `naturally New Orleans` with a refined edge. The ambiance and staff are warm and inviting. Original art by local artists adorn the walls and the servers are sharply dressed in striped bistro aprons and ties. The food is classic LA with its own subtle twist - try the fried green tomatoes with shrimp remoulade or the duck etouffe on corn cakes with LA pepper jelly - you won't regret it. Be sure to ask owner Jo Ann Clevenger for her other food favorites in the city. She keeps a list at the door and will be happy to point you to her own hidden gems. -
