A definate must do! I would say more of a grandma in the kitchen throw it on the plate atmosphere with great local music and dancers to watch! If you want dessert... their bread pudding is absolutely the best (while a bit different than most) other desserts? Skip they're trucked in! Rustic Warehouse setting and fabulous service... Maybe Emeril could get a few pointers here!!! :)
by Garnett
Good food and very generous portions.
by jimrob
Cajun Warehouse dining. Really good cajun fare. Desserts are mouthwatering. Music starts late but worth the wait. The costs seem a little high.
Every time we travel South, we drive out of our way to visit Mulate's. The food is wonderfully Cajun. I love the Mushroom Smothered Hamburger Steak and my husband always has the spicy Duck. The live bands are awesome and there is a small dance floor that is always full.
by ChefMoz.org
a little overpriced for what you get but nice location and tasty bites
by Jason S.
I really wanted to like this place, great open setup, live music. But the food was beyond bland. At over $70 for 2 beers, an app, and 2 bowls of gumbo it just isn't worth it.
by Doug B
The smoked oysters was great but do not go for the boudin.
by Bruce T
Cajun Sampler
by Andre S
Get here before heavy dinner rush. Great Blackened grilled chicken salad. Beer is cold. Good spot right after and outside convention center for quick food.
by Justin Locke
Great red beans and rice. Andouille sausage

by Vincent E
Was good Cajun cooking. Very crowded. Tables are very close together.
by Colin M
This place is a little touristy but the food saved it. I enjoy a delicious bowl of Zydeco Gumbo rich in flavor and spiced just right.
by Jim Bailey
Fried shrimp po-boy was awesome.
by Chris R.
Very expensive for fried food
by Danny P.
Seafood pasta and stuffed shrimp were amazing! #bestfoodever
by Joseph F
I loved the seafood gumbo and the bread pudding. The music was a little on the loud side in case you want to talk.
by Thomas E
Me pareció muy buen sitio, la comida rica y el mejor lugar para probar el cocodrilo (Alligator Grilled), en jueves cierran a las diez y prácticamente te corren, alguien vio un pequeño roedor, yo no.
by Luis Ep
There Jambalaya is amazing!!!
by Nimesh P.
Mardi Gras Shrimp with Red Beans and Rice!
by Sheila T
Red beans n rice, it was good but not great. The staff were all friendly and there's live music, bit touristy.
by Chris K
The food was amazing, fried and grilled catfish, plus live entertainment, so much fun!
by Candice Rivera

by Juan Pablo I.
Excellent food and service. Jambalaya was amazing. As was the étouffée. Would recommend whole heartedly.
by Ratul C
It's a bit cheesy and tourist-oriented but at least the food's good. Get the alligator.
by Adam D
Someone recommended me this place and the "Blackened Alligator"... Really good! Very tasty and spiced. I liked too the Crawfish. Crowded place with live music and dance floor.
by Alèxia S.
Mediocre food but good atmosphere and selection for large groups looking for local cuisine. Overpriced but you can get a good muffuletta, cole slaw and Boudain here. Get your fix at Acme first.
by Bradley P.
I'll have the grilled aligator, and make it snappy.
by Donny D.
Cajun ribs were pretty good. Don't get the Cajun seafood platter...there wasn't anything Cajun about it. Great live music on Friday night
by Molly J
Fantastic! Whateever you order, get a side of cole slaw. Pretty close to the best I've ever had, maybe THE best.

by Andrew Martinez
Get a bowl of gumbo and a salad if you're budget - conscious. Otherwise try one of the combination platters. Arrive early to beat the dinner crowd.

Chicken wings
by Pam A
Chicken wings are so good. I could eat them every week for years. Hot, flavored, good size, juicy etc. This is how chicken wings should be done.

Do not eat there, food was cold and burnt. I cannot understand how that happens
by Nathaniel G
The service here is horrible !! We had a party of 13 and our food was cold and then the waiter microwaves our food and the manager informed us they had a new kitchen manager but never apologized

Oreo dirt is probably the best dessert here. Don't judge. Just try it. You won't regret it.
by Catherine E.
Get the crab or shrimp. The crawfish etufee & baked potato are amazing. The fried alligator is a must! Save room for dessert. The caramel cheese cake, bread pudding and pecan pie are great choices.
by Catherine E.
Loved the grilled shrimp w/ twice baked potato! Yummy! Kinda pricey but so good!
by Cathy R.
Crab stuffed shrimp is amazing! Love the dancing and music entertainment...a must visit in New Orleans!

by Suzanne M.

by Brett V.
Not a lot of spice or kick so if that's what you looking for ask for it. Good service though and love the onion rings

by Pramod V.
Good food and good music
by Charlie F.
Dinner and dancing. A fun change of pace from the craziness of Bourbon Street. Food good; mixed drinks not too strong, however, even with extra shot...Go with beer or wine :(
by Julie M.
Their bread pudding is to die for...save room for it!
by Jamie B.
Good food, but a little pricey especially for a kid's meal.

by Natasha B.
Amazing food. Awful service and awful expensive
by Andy
Bloody Mary is nice and spicy!
by PattiB
Go here with your mom if you just moved to town like 6 hours ago.
by Matt R.
Not worth it at all. $22 for a barely mediocre shrimp po-boy and $7 for a cup of bland gumbo. Waste of money and time in a fantastic culinary city.
by Brian S.
The étouffée and gumbo are delicious. A must have no doubt.
by Olivia S.
Go for the music, it was the best thing here...food was mediocre, service was average. Key lime pie tasted a bit old, charge $.99 for bread.
by Nancy R.
Food is way overpriced, and not very good. Our meal was cold when it came out. Very disappointing. I'll stick to my own gumbo from now on.
by Ed C.
Bad food, over priced- highly fucking disappointed.... 2 times in a row things have turned out to be a high priced turd- Jesus!!!!!
by Brad
Fucking Christ... Really? A cup if soup for 8 bucks? Is this entire city affected??
by Brad
Not the best
by George S.
Frog legs, rice-sausage, meat pies, and bread pudding. Eat them.

Great Cajun gumbo !
by Terry W.
Cajun sampler appetizer! $50.00 split between myself and 2 other people as our meal and it was worth every penny!!
by Ali
Very expensive. So very filling. Yummy but I feel bad for my parents. Expensive and I couldn't finish half of my meal! Music is too loud I might mention. BUT yummy like I said. Idk if its worth it.
by Braeden W.
The atmosphere was great and so was the fried alligator but staff and the rest of the food was severely lacking.
by Amber G.
The Gumbo is excellent.
by Justin C.

Obsessed with the fried shrimp po boy
by Lexi L.
The service from our waitress Stephanie was terrible, she never failed to be rude. Loved the food and music, but her offensive behavior was enough to ensure my friends and I will never return.
by Katie C.
Great location, huge drinks but my muffaletta was greasy and if you don't like cheese its tough luck. They are premade and won't accomoadate your allergies. Super expensive for what it is.
by Clare P.
Be brave - try the alligator and frog legs
by Valerie B.

by Keith B.

by Barry M

by Chris B.
Pretty pricey but very very delicious if you're in the mood for real Cajun cuisine
by Steven P.
Skip the shrimp gumbo. It's incredibly fishy. If you like spicy, go for the Zydeco gumbo. If not, shrimp etouffe and the red beans and rice are safe bets and both are hearty and delish. MmmmmMmmmmmmm.
by Anna C.
Try the Zydeco Gumbo
by Venson E
Try the Zydeco Gumbo. Nice & spicy & much better than seafood gumbo. Étouffée was also very good
by Lovisa W.
good food great sweet tea
by Chris W.
The food is great! The service-Not so much! Would have liked to receive the appetizers BEFORE the main course rather than with it, and the Female crabcakes are much smaller than the male crabcakes.
by Jennifer L.
Mufaletta's for lunch! Gotta try one!
by Lori B.
The shrimp and oyster en brochette is delicious, the seafood pasta was bland, bland, bland.
by Naomi P.
The stuffed mushrooms were delish!
by Janet S.
You must have the sea food pasta. It is fantastic. Great service. Charming environment. Will go there again before I leave. The challenge will be to get something besides the aforementioned pasta
by Chad P.
Best Pecan Pie in the area - you have to try it
by Adam C.
Best etouffe in town!
by Conrad L.
not only awesome food but great atmosphere... try the augratin
