Le Petite Grocery is the perfect spot for a "nicer" lunch or date night dinner. Every item on the list is amazing, but the Blue Crab Beignets are a must order.
by Hudson Sutler D
Look at the specials! We loved the veal sweetbreads w/shishito peppers & blue cheese, chocolate ooey gooey cake, and grits with chives & sea salt.
by Ariana V
The Duck entree is fried which isn't written clearly on the menu. Get the pickled jar appetizer and the mac n cheese.
by Kelsey M

The elegant dining room at Justin Devillier’s Garden District charmer unwinds the senses with flawless dishes like crab beignets and turtle Bolognese.

Incredible. The blue crab beignets are true to the reviews. The waffles are great and overall, the daily specials are actually special :). They serve artisanal bread as well!
by Tara Dîana
One of the best burgers in the city. Really lovely light inside at the bar so sip a drink. In nice weather, take advantage of one their their tables outside and get some people watching in.

If you are on Magazine, LPG is a must. Contemporary Louisiana cuisine by James Beard nominee, Devillier. The Panéed Rabbit is luscious & the Blue Crab beignets are bound to become New Orleans legend.

Blue crab beignets and fried green tomatoes were worth the trip alone
by Frank L.
La Petite Grocery has the feel of a local bistro but food that would do justice to a destination eatery—blue crab-filled beignets make their way to seemingly every table.
by The Wall Street Journal
Great for brunch. Get after them shrimp!
by Brendan Curran
Fantastic, one of best in NOLA by far.

this is a MUST DO
by Valarie M.
It's difficult to choose--everything is unique and fresh. Ricotta dumplings and the chilled gulf coast sea food dish were our fave!
by Kika G.
The blue crab beignets are a bit of a misnomer - more like sweet hushpuppies filled with creamy crab goodness - but they are great. The big red hammer is fun, but probably not worth $16.

Chef-owner Justin Devellier's elegant corner store in the restaurant-saturated Uptown neighborhood. Don't miss the grits or the pickle jar.

Grilled Octopus: Chef-owner Justin Devillier uses sweet-and-sour satsuma oranges — the first citrus fruit to ripen in the fall in Louisiana — and octopus for this popular appetizer.
by Nation's Restaurant News
Amazing! The beignets were great!
by Jeff S.
Get the blue crab beignets and try it 3 ways: 1) The beignet alone; 2) The beignet dipped in the sauce; 3) With a squeeze of lemon & the sauce. Unbelievable how much each adds depth of flavor!
by Jessica F.
Seafood stew and carrot cake were the best.
by Nina W.
I'd say skip the appetizers all together! I was totally underwhelmed! Go for the seafood stew and a cocktail!
by Nina W.
Great service! The Brussels sprout special was ah-maxing. Also, great rosé !
by 🌟Alessia🌟
Such a shame, the service was awful. Almost an hour before they brought anything over (on a Sunday). Food is beyond amazing. They better clean their act up with all the bravoTV airtime they're getting
by Matt N.
The braised short rib app is tremendous!
by James B.
Had the Kentucky Saint (Noah’s Mill Bourbon, St. Germain Liqueur, Aperol, & Lemon), then Blue Crab Beignets, Paneed Rabbit w/spaetzle & wilted greens & Pan Roasted Beef Tenderloin w/anna potatoes #yum
by Jaime L.
Absolutely fantastic menu and service; however, they are docked a point for not having espresso or cappuccino to finish off a wonderful meal.
by Neal R.
The specials are always to die for. Don't make a decision until you've heard them.
by Rose T.
Crab beignets are so delicious.
by Emily E.

Romantic setting- one of my fav experiences in NOLA- food is simply prepared with the freshest quality ingredients but not over the top - the food is pure southern comfort- I promise you will love it

Crabmeat beignets are unreal.
by Amanda L.
Amazing cheeseburger!!! One of the best I've ever had. And try the lobster beignets and braised short ribs--they're crazy delicious!
by Kristin W.
You’ll likely find dishes such as roasted quail stuffed with boudin & black drum topped with a blue crab beignet, as well as tangy goat cheese desserts, served w/whatever fruits are in season.

The lobster beignet is to DIE for...
by Andrew S.
Second visit and still mixed feelings. Enjoyed the steak tartare immensely and the short rib app was also good. Great service always. Entrees are overpriced. Disappointing black drum but good rabbit.
by Jessica L.
Great burger for lunch! Service was great with a romantic atmosphere for dinner.
by David Z.
