  • nitram reviewWe were very impressed with the sommelier upstairs. He helped us with our wine selections and taught us more about wine. The `by the glass wine` with each course was a delightful experience. Four stars for the `Mint Love-Letters With Lamb Sausage`. We'll be going back for sure!

  • nsands reviewDinner at Babbo's was absolutely fantastic! After despising octopus my entire life, the octopus appetizer at Babbo's was absolutely amazing! The main course was wonderful, and to top everything off, the service was superb. I would definitely go back!

  • xannie1979 reviewPricey but excellent food well prepared--Great service---Worth the effort

  • krispucci reviewWell, there's no disputing taste, as the old Roman saying goes and thus how Babbo's can get any rating by anyone less than 6 stars on a 5 star scale is beyond us. We ate there once and it was the best meal we ever had in our lives, and I should add that my wife gets 5 gourmet cooking magazines a month and we have eaten in some extremely fine restaurants in NYC, France, Australia (Sydney), Tokyo and S.F. We never tasted pasta so good or imagined that pasta could taste that good even though we love pasta. If you can get a resrervaton and get in--GO!

    55555 by krispucci

  • Silene AStill stunning service and food after all these years. I went there for lunch. Arugula salad and the broccoli rabe salad with meat.

  • Deborah S.You can modify several pasta dishes to be vegan!

    55555 by Deborah S.

  • Yueyue RThe tripe is unreal, better than they make it in Italy (spicy though for most people, so make sure you got some beer on the side). Goose liver ravioli is also a must

    55555 by Yueyue R

  • Inna SThe black spaghetti with rock shrimp was a bit tasteless. The place is cozy, but the music is very loud and doesn't match the ambience.

    33333 by Inna S

  • Rameeka VThe pork chop is to die for

    55555 by Rameeka V

  • Daniel RAlways a good honest meal. Batali and Bastianich's flagship Italian restaurant. Make res before.

    55555 by Daniel R

  • Sari L.Jesus Christ. This place is awful and over rated. If you want to be squished like a sardine and pay for over priced food, go here. I would rather eat from sabarro at penn station then go here again.

  • Jane Gask the waiters for wine recos. Got a great red for $80 (the wine here is $$). Avoid the squab (super rare and gamey) but go for the beef cheek ravioli. Duck is tasty but pork chop is the real star

    55555 by Jane G

  • Emilie FuttermanGreat for a traditional Italian meal. Burrata is heavenly. Pasta can be overcooked. The upstairs area has great light, ask for a table there.

    55555 by George C.
