Oh New York: this is a view that I'd love to see everyday. This installment of our trip to New York will talk about the best places we went to enjoy "adult" beverages.

Too much balsamic on the salad though to be fair, most places have that problem. Fantastic and well seasoned carrots.

Warm up with the La Petite Pomme: a winter batch of Cocchi Americanco Blanc, apple cider and ginger bitters.

Incredible ambiance. Delightfully sophisticated first date spot - can't lose. Great wine selection at tolerable price points. Having lived in Paris, I'm impressed by the Pigalle feel.

Cool place, nice for groups before you go out.Get the bowls of champagne & try the French onion fondue! DELISH.

An intimate space perfect for fondue lovers. The place that made me love fondue even more.

They substitute Canada Dry club soda for the menu's Tom's handmade tonic in the Juniper & Tonic. At least use Schweppes as the Quinine might help fight off malaria in the 100 degree heat of this bar.

Michelle is definitely interesting - still deciding if I'd drink more than one.

Awesome beer cocktail! Try the Michelle if you are in the mood for a lighter fruity Bloody Mary.

Nice atmosphere and great drinks! After looking at the menu, I will def eat here next time

They serve wine spritzers on tap from Brooklyn Soda Works, with flavours like hibiscus, ginger and jalapeno! http://barchick.com/find-a-bar/new-york/bourgeois-pig

NYC never ceases to produce the hippest and coolest lounges and bars, and BP is definitely one of them. Perfect date spot! Try the baked brie fill and the molten chocolate cake dessert.

Wine and fondue...what can be better? We love to come here with friends and share the dark chocolate fondue. Be sure to come on a Monday or Tuesday for half-priced bottles of wine!

The red Sangria is amazing.

Usually I'll find two or three dead mussels in every pot. This place had none. Pair it off with the lobster bisque fondue and a lovely bottle of your favorite red and enjoy yourself. Super cute!

Great wine list, cozy atmosphere, good times.

The de wallet drink is large and sweet - delish! Be sure to save room for a desert fondue! Xoxo

The fondue is awesome.

Gotta be one of the handful of best date spots in NYC. Great atmosphere, and cocktails, wine, and belgian beers makes for a diverse beverage selection.

Talk about fancy fondue! Pricy but fun.
by Samantha K.
Fun fact: this bar isn't allowed to serve hard liquor because its next to a church! Archaic NYC laws are the best.

Get the Michelle

The menu is stacked with French wines, and the cheese plates are a hit. Be sure to try the fondue, and stop by on Monday or Tuesday night for half-off bottles of wine.

Rude waiters.. they did not want to serve us at all, totally ignored us. Great fondue, horrible horrible service.
by sarah s.
The food is wonderful, the drinks are tasty, the decor is romantic, the service is horrible.
by Trevor S.
Monday, you’re looking at $20 bottles of wine, Tuesday, $5 wines by the glass, Wednesday, $4.75 double infusions and finally, Thursday, $2 off martinis. Yeah, you read right.
