  • Michelle W.If you're gonna come here you gotta do the tasting menu. Some of the best I've had in the city.

    55555 by Michelle W.

  • Jackie G.Amazing omakase! On the quieter side for an NYC restaurant, in a good way

    55555 by Jackie G.

  • Margarita KrupTasting menu was AMAZING! The Uni melted in your mouth. Reserve a spot at the counter and watch the magic happen.

    55555 by Margarita Krup

    55555 by Drew 5.

  • CCnycOmakase, wine

  • Hideki K.Very expensive. Avoid the Uni Tasting. The Local Uni (Santa Barbara) was better than the Japan Uni from northern Hokkaido. The Wagyu Steak was excellent. The King Crab (pictured) was good.

    55555 by Hideki K.

  • JadeAmazing omakase. Sit downstairs at the sushi bar. Reservations in advance.

    55555 by Jade

  • jansen chowMichelin one star, good selection and authentic sushi. I would recommend the omakase and follow their fresh taste of the day to make the most of your tasting experience!

    55555 by jansen chow

  • Joe D.Come with your +1. Ask to sit at the sushi bar. Make sure one of you gets the uni tasting. Get a bit tipsy and soak in the experience.

    55555 by Joe D.

  • Heléne CExcellent sushi

    55555 by Heléne C

  • Rafi RomeroGot the 10-piece nigiri. It was ok. Tanoshi in the UES is still my favorite sushi place in the city by far.

    55555 by Rafi Romero

  • Joan Parkamazing value for lunchbox deals and lunch specials.

    55555 by Joan Park

  • Matty CitoAn experience. One of my true Uni wake up calls with @joh and the inkman. I dream of it weekly

    55555 by Matty Cito

  • ChaoGood for both lunch and dinner. Tasting menu is pretty tasty.

    55555 by Chao

  • Jordan M.Heavenly house-made tofu, and the best miso soup I've ever had.

    55555 by Jordan M.

  • EaterTry this Tribeca gem for its Japanese hits. It offers an excellent sushi bar omakase experience. Also, lunch sets are under $20, and are composed of Japanese dishes, maki, and soba.

    55555 by Eater

  • Alice M. HuynhHead to head to Yasuda, definitely worth the money! Make a reservation for Omakase and enjoy every single bite! Also try the apple sorbet as dessert ! Awesome!

    55555 by Alice M. Huynh

  • Anthony Q.Everything!

    55555 by Anthony Q.

  • DanwenGood not amazing. Though first time having Hokkaido uni here. Will be back for live uni nights.

    55555 by Danwen

  • Chefs FeedKurt Gutenbrunner, chef of Blaue Gans, eats here on his nights off. He loves the "Wagyu" beef tataki.

  • Summer K.1) the cold soba or 2) the hot soba

    33333 by Summer K.

  • DesireeMy very first omakase. Nice small intimate space. Very tradtional, super fresh...especially the tuna, sea urchin, and salom roe. Excellent service. The heated toilet seat was pretty awesome too.

    55555 by Desiree

  • Santa DimopulosGet the table downstairs. Best uni and sashimi I have ever tried!!!)

    55555 by Santa Dimopulos

  • Warren MOmakase, no doubt about it. Do the Uni tasting if you can.

    55555 by Warren M

  • Justin K.As of 4/7/14 the former Greenwich Grill space is the city's newest soba restaurant. If you recall Hanmura An, you will like this spot.

    55555 by Justin K.

  • JenTheir nigiri set doesn't compare to Ushi's. Don't spend your money here if you are looking to get your piece of uni and toro scallion rolls

    33333 by Jen

  • Gordon DCan't go wrong here. Grab a bar seat & leave it in the hands of the capable chefs. The flavorful black throat fatty snappy, buttery Hakkaido uni & best o-toro anywhere are absolute must haves.

    55555 by Gordon D

  • Grace S.+Wagyu beef nigiri, king salmon, fatty tuna, Red snapper collar, avocado uni, meringue roll

  • VoiceStreetOrder the Bakudan-Nattō topped with a quail egg, with homemade soy sauce and scallions. It's a local's favorite!

    55555 by VoiceStreet

  • Siyun F.Santa Barbara uni vs. Hokkaido uni on the house. Friend with the chef, Terado San, now :)

    55555 by Siyun F.

  • Siyun F.Just go with the omakase! Terado San never disappoints.

    55555 by Siyun F.

  • Edward Duarte K.Call in 2 weeks ahead for reservations. Neck to neck with Yasuda, but Azabu edges out on the rice this time. Chef's omakase is a must. Uni from Hokkaido is the sh!t, so don't bother with Cali uni.

    55555 by Edward Duarte K.

  • DragondenisThey won't allow you to order sushi without a reservation. But if you are getting sushi - definitely do the koi menu - absolutely worth it.

    55555 by Dragondenis

  • Time Out New YorkThis stealthy sushi shrine—tucked away in the basement of Greenwich Grill—attracts solo diners who happily hobnob with the talkative chefs while popping exceptional nigiri morsels into their mouths.

  • Colin N.Obsessed with this joint, and its sushi counterpart downstairs

    55555 by Colin N.

  • Frank151It features “Tokyo-Italian” cuisine—a strong Italian base with a subtle infusion of Japanese tastes, ingredients, and cooking techniques used to pull out the full umami found in Italian food.

    55555 by Frank151

  • Ron G.Very uneven service and food. Far from the best in NYC. I would settle for sometimes the best below 14th St, but not reliable enough. Not much competition in Tribeca.
