Village Vanguard Reviews
They serve White Russians in a wine glass.

Can´t understand the prohibition of taking pictures during the show (even with NO flash). Great events should be shared. By the looks of it, they haven´t reached the age of social networks yet..

Love this club, it's small so you're very intimate with the artist. Plus there's photographs of the jazz greats that played here in the past. Nice, cool vibe.

Jazz at the end of a lovely night? This is the place to go
Great place to hear jazz. A tight fit!

When you don't know what to see but want to visit this historical famous jazz club, just come here on Mondays! Mondays are reserved for these great guys!

Some damn good jazz!

ถ้าคุณเป็นชอบแนวแจ๊ส ที่ Village Vanguard เหมาะสำหรับเพื่อนนักเที่ยวที่ New York มากที่สุด!

For all its downtown cool, this place is a stickler for tradition. They like a quiet, moody feel, and they enforce it. If you’re with a chatty group you may want to go to the Vanguard another time.

Opening in 1935, the club went to an exclusive jazz format in 1957 where many famous recordings were made by jazz luminaries. Fantastic acoustics.

No food, well drinks, awkward room, AMAZING music. Go to the first set, pay one cover, stay all night and only pay the drink minimum for each additional set. You couldn't possibly regret it! LOVE!!!
by Sarah C.
Transport yourself back to the late 50s and enjoy an intimate experience. Sets are exactly one hour long which is perfect: leaves you wanting more before you get bored.

You like Jazz MASTER :) May I Join ???
by Amanda Sabrina P.
Home to Jazz for over 70 years and still showcasing some of the best talent in the world. Make sure you arrive early for your reservation – you just might lose your seat.

One of the most recognized jazz sanctuaries - Don't miss the Gerald Clayton Trio November 22-27, 2011! (Start the jazz conversation @AMIagency)
Quench your thirst before you get here or you'll end up broke. $7 for a Budweiser, really?!
by Jessica M.
Come early. Best tables are at the front and they're taken well in advance, first-come first-serve
by Eyal G.
Great Jazz Club, but there is no food here. If you want to do it, do before or after the set
by Luiz Filipe M.
Come early or get stuck with the riff raff that show up right before show time. ;-)

Hands down the best jazz in all new york
by Eric V.
After 30 years—during which time John Coltrane, Miles Davis and Bill Evans grooved here—this basement club still hosts the crème de la crème of mainstream jazz talent. Doors open at 8pm.
