  • I have been eating in this location every Saturday night for several years and I have never had a bad meal and I believe the service is some of the best around. I drive 32 miles every saturday just to eat there. Is there a down side to this restaurant? They do get busy so I eat pre 6pm and always leave a happy camper.

  • I have been to Gulf Stream a quite a few times and my feelings have not changed. With the exception of the salmon, all the food I have received has been slightly dry and almost tasteless. If it were not for the extensive wine list and the fantastic walnut sauteed beets I would not have returned at all. Servers need to inform customers when a menu listed side dish is out, and this pretty much describes the service overall. Servers are almost non existent and Im not sure if they are not familiar with the menu or just don't care. The last, and most likely my last, time there I ordered the ono with my favorite walnut sauteed beets, only to be served a dry and tasteless white lump and tomato slices with olive oil! I think a little courtesy would help this place immensely, and perhaps it is time for a new chef.
