Service was particulary friendly and agreeable. Though most of our dishes were very good and up to usual quality, two in our party ordered "medium rare" for our filets and they could not have been more different - one, very, very rare with a warm center, the other barely pink in the center. We could have asked for a re-do, but didn't want to delay others in our party.

This was my first visit to the restaurant. I don't live in or around Chicago, but I found this place to be first-class. The reservation I made was correct in spelling of my name, not easily done. The steak was extremely hot, which is a standard that not every restaurant follows. The waiters were dressed impeccably and the decor was handsome. The people were friendly and when I left a tip I did not feel like I was wasting my money.

Very crowded with tables too close together. Our service could of been better, and the deserts got mixed up. Main courses were good, but I found it no better than other good steakhouses like Morton's, Wildfire, etc. which probably come in a little less expensive and usually have better service. This relates to the restaurant in Northbrook, IL.
