I love Amada!
by ChefMoz.org
If you are looking for a Spanish cousin this is not the place. I was disappointed. They don't know what they are serving.
by Rambe B
I enjoyed the flat bread the most. We shared the edmami salad and the wagyu sirloin they were all good.
by Hind S
The tapas are a bit disappointing. Avoid the octopus and the gambas al ajillo. The tocino de cielo was good and also the rabo de toro.
by Gonzalo
Lamb chops OMG!!!
by Valerie A
Everything is great here! I come here every time I'm in town. You will not be disappointed.
by Bryan P.
Everything was great, but particular favorites include sangria (red), lamb meatballs, flatbread, & scallops.

by Nathan W.
Superb! I highly recommend all of their shrimp dishes.
by J W.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Philly! Try some of the cured meats, garlic shrimp, flatbreads, fideos made with calamari, and the lamb meatballs.... but, honestly, everything is great here.
by Hannah G.
The food is great but the service is a bit slow!
by Boris F
Nice ambience, delicious Spanish cheeses and meats (splurge for the jamón iberico), and it's worth trying as many different items as possible. The garnacha blend Prima is a winner from the wine list
by Lance L.
Dinner is good, but make a reservation or be prepared to wait. Nice selection of Spanish wines for a drink at the bar too!
by Larisa Grollemond
Great tapas and catala beer

Try the pre-fix menu- worth it!
by Joanna S
The hanger steak bites and the cheese plate with apple slices and honey were both AMAZING.
by Ariel R
If you want to eat tapas you will be disappointed here. They are very different than what you find in Spain. Portions are really small for a tapa and over-expensive.
by Alex Mas
Try the grilled pulpo.
by Katherine W.
The scallops a la plancha and the chicken hijo are amazing and Excellent red wines
by Katie E
Far away from spanish tapas... Very small portions for high price... Not worth it.

Everything was so amazing. The grilled scallops are by far the best item on this menu!
by Derya G.
Pernil Asado, must get.
by Jonathan T.
The menu is varied, but the food itself is all equally dry and uninspired. Go elsewhere.
by Eric B.
One of the best restaurants in Philly. Some of my favorites are the crab stuffed peppers and the parmesan artichokes, but everything on the menu is delish!!!

Garces' flagship restaurant in Philly. The garlic shrimp tapa is insane. Try one of the flatbreads as well; the short rib one is a fave. Ham croquettas and potatas bravas are always amazing.

Great lunch specials, and consistently great dinner. Lovely bar as well.

Jose Garces presents stunning updates to classic Spanish flavors in an evocative, 135-seat space in Old City. The service is impressive and the menu well-tuned, but those small plates add up quickly.
by Philly.com
The food was amazing... Try something new... You are guaranteed to love it!

While Garces isn't in the kitchen, much of the menu is still full of his spirit. Even though it opened in 2005, getting a reservation is still a challenge 7 years later. [Eater 38 Member]
by Eater
The perfect spot is located at the end of the main dining room. The chef's counter, with six high chairs, gets you up-close to the action in the kitchen.
by Visit Philly
