Came in at 3:30pm for their Mid Day Bar Menu. Had the Radicchio salad and Steakhouse Sandwich, both were fantastically flavorful. Would love to come here for brunch!
by Brian
Jalapeño hush puppies! No explanation necessary. Oh and the steak with chimichurri was great too.
by Tom A
the slammin' music adds to the sunday funday experience
by Samir Nazir
Smoked Trout & Accoutrements
by Adam H.
Amazing food. Loved their Korean fried kimchi rice chicken , cuate Mary and the corn fritatta. The wait is ridiculously long like over 2 hours so plan something long with it
by Pavan C
We came for dinner, and it was not that worth it. Food was good but not great.
by Flora K
One of the best brunches I have ever had! Lots of small plates that are great for sharing. Highly recommend the bambino plate and the flatiron steak!
by Lizzie R
Food and drinks are great but the bar menu between lunch and dinner (2pm - 5pm) is VERY limited. It actually kinda sucks. Gonna come back for brunch or dinner.
by @SlopFunkDust
The duck duck potatoes were out of this world.
by Jim A.
EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS.
by Ryan R.
Good drinks, excellent food. Expect to wait for an hour or so. It's worth it, though.
by David
Love everything about this place!!! Homemade taste, great atmosphere and amazing mimosas
by Chelsea A
The food was amazing and the drinks were great too. Take a place at the bar if you do not want to wait (which can take 1h+ easily). They serve the full menu at the bar and the bartenders are super!
by Christian M
High ratings but not sure why. Most proteins were over salted n I love salty things. Duck was cooked odd sous vide? not sure why, not well executed. Hopefully caught the kitchen on a bad night.
by Ryan G.
Been here a couple of times and everything is solid. The Korean style chicken is tasty, and Brussels sprouts are to die for!
by Bikash M.
Go here for brunch. Expect a wait
by Gia S
Well-priced brunch spot. Worth noting that the dishes are meant to be shared, so mix it up! I really enjoyed the Bim Bop and the Korean Fried Chicken.
by Matt Chan
If you can get through the treasure map of a menu, there is a tasty treasure chest at the end.
by Jeremiah R
Brunch is amazing here!
by Gary R
great spot in downtown for brunch or dinner
by Joseph Sun
Get their Irish coffee, potatoes bravas, tasty steak and cheddar eggs, fried egg and cheddar biscuit and Korean fried chicken for four people
by Jessica J.
Disappointing. The Tasso Hash was straight up greasy. So was the steak sandwich. Cheap champagne and boxed OJ for mimosas.
by Christopher J
The octopus is OFFFF the charts. YUM!!
by Nicole
Goat cheese dumplings, Duck duck potatoes, skirt steak LAWD
by Frank D.

by Greg R
We've eaten at Tasty 'N Sons four times; this will be the only time we eat at Tasty 'N Alder. The menu was a confusing mess, portion sizes were tiny (& $$$) and quality was poor. Truly a let down :(
by Rob K
Brunch highlights: kim bop bacon and whole toad egg thing. Both are savory and full of yums. Long wait, even on a Wednesday brunch time.
by Connie Chiu
Got here around 2:30pm on a Sunday. They had just finished brunch service, so I could only sit at the bar. Got a couple of beers, fried chicken, and a biscuit. Even happy hour menu was good overall.
by Antonio C.
good cocktails and small plates
by Paul D.
The sherry skirt steak and Mexican grilled corn were both SUPERB! It was an hour wait on a Monday night at 8pm though, so there's that....
by Amelia H.
They take your phone number on the waiting list, so you can wander out and enjoy the neighborhood while you wait.
by Daniel S
Cocktails were very good. Not a lot of vegetarian options for brunch but cheese plate was delish.
by Sara W
Happy Hour menu is amazing!
by Keith S
Vegetarian or gluten free? The waitstaff are happy to mark up your menu with the best options for your particular dietary preferences!
by Mike C
Steak and eggs with jalapeño butter pancake is unbelievable. Bim bop is great too!

The brownie is the best! This is a great restaurant. You cannot go wrong. Follow the chef's directions.

by till
האוכל בסדר, והמחירים סבירים, להזמין מראש אפשר רק קבוצה או להמתין בבר 45 דקות
by Alon C.
The patatas bravas and the corn meal pancake with jalapeño butter ( the steak on top of it is decent too 😃).
by Mike T

The best advice I ever got was to get the Tasty Steak and Eggs with a Tasty Mary for breakfast here. Now I'm passing these words of wisdom to you. You won't be disappointed.
by Meah B
Brussels sprouts are nicely seasoned and charred.
by Vineet S.
One of the best meals ever and I live in NYC! The meat and salmon were amazeballs!
by Marissa S.
Sherry cream pasta!!
by Marek Baker
Best Brussels sprouts ever. I've always been impressed with the way side dishes are treated by all of the restaurants in this family.
by Katya D.
The chips n dip are perfectly crisp. The Brussels sprouts are excellently seasoned but a little oily. The service went above and beyond in my opinion even though they missed one of my orders
by Amy V.
The clientele tends to be old dudes who complain about everything... Unfortunate because the food is excellent. Saigon Brussel Spouts, steak frites, goat cheese dumplings, fabulous cocktails!
by Kelsey H.
Chocolate potato doughnut is amazing.
by Erin Davis
Had the Cowboy Skirt Steak and the Chicken a la Plancha, both amazing. Seriously, really really good!
by Eugen S.
Leave #Koreanfood to Koreans. #Schnitzel was the best of all dishes ordered.
by huirija
great Bloody Mary, egg and steak skillet and the polenta were both to die for
by nora w.
There's a reason the word tasty is in the name. Absolutely scrumptious Family-style eating! Must try: goat cheese dumplings, cedar-plank salmon, Nacho Libre corn on the cob, and the Brussels sprouts
by Jessica T.
Potatoes Bravas with a fried egg-I almost ordered a second one.
by Erin M.
Everything. Just have everything.

I don't like bloody marys and these are great, plus fantastic brunch food. The bibimbap with eggs and bacon and crunchy rice and such is outstanding
by Andrew W.
Great Bloody Mary and the Patatas Bravas were unbelievably good.
by Colleen H.
Radicchio salad and steak frites will keep me coming back. Also, they have a stellar selection of cider and cocktails.

Amazing bone marrow toast and smoked ribeye. Oh yeah, and duck fat potatoes.
by Zac M.
Frittata is delicious.
by Libby
all the food. and the music
by Ryan
Breakfast bibimbap with bacon? Uh, yes.
by Ian W.
If there's 2 of you, put your name in with the hostess and get a drink at the standing bar while you wait. You might have a greater chance of sitting at the real bar for foods. Saigon beans are ridic.
by DANGER T.
Bimbop is a wrong term. Should be Bibimbop. Bibim is to mix, and Bop means rice in Korean.
by Cecilia D
Don't hesitate on the dry aged ribeye on the mid day menu. The Fried chicken is super moist with great crunchy exterior too!
by Phillip K.
Chocolate Potato Doughnut is incredible. Also order the Bim Bop Bacon & Eggs to share. Wait can be lengthy so put your name in and go grab Courier Coffee on Oak Street.
by Geoff R.
Dinner is as good as breakfast
by Cody P
Brunch. Great Bloody Mary.

by Brook Shelley
The dockside Bloody Mary is the best Bloody Mary I've had in the northwest.
by Andre B.

by Alex B.
Don’t miss the Alder Burger and the Korean Fried Chicken!
by Sarah S.
We can’t get enough of the bloody mary’s – especially the Cuate!

by Jonnie h
My fave: bim bop bacon & eggs. Amazing! Best brunch ever!
by Davia S.
If you're a fan of the Bloody Mary, don't miss theirs. I think the Tasty Mary is best but they're all a homerun.

Tasty n Sons' third, and newest restaurant. Different menu. The Korean Fried Chicken bowl at lunch (only) is my favorite dish. Everything else is also pretty exceptional.
by GNTLMN
Duck potatoes are amazing!
by Maria veronica Gutierrez
Try the Brussels sprouts and the Spanish octopus!
by Glenn B.
Food was excellent. Don't order the bloody Mary.
by Robert W.
Skow service. Food came out randomly and poorly spaced. Waaaay too long of a wait. Great biscuits and yummy grits.
by Courtney D.
You will wait to eat but put your name in go snack over at the Alder Food Carts if you are hypoglycemic. It is worth the wait.
by Chris
Jersey City, yo. Like a Manhattan, but across the river.
by Stephanie P.
Don't wear anything with buttons. They will pop!
by charm n.
Wow, I just found the right excuse to say that this is a really good place: the Panna Cotta with pineapple-rum caramel and a Zacapa rum glass besides. This is an experience!
by Juan M
Worth the wait!
by Jeff M.
Spectacular Bloody Mary if you're here for brunch.

This place has made me realize that Portland is seriously winning the Portland v Brooklyn food competition. Also, so glad I'm not a vegetarian. Pork skirt steak all the way. And the heirloom tomatoes!
by Falcon Elizabeth
Start with the chocolate potato doughnut and a glass of brut rose ;)
by Peter C.
Gotta respect a place that plays the B52s. Try the Indonesian short rib stew skillet corn cake w/jalapeño butter. Yum*100
by Jen L.
Love the food here! All of it! French toast is yummy. I would normally say never listen to Nick. But the Korean chicken is the bomb!

I can't think of too many brunch spots in New York that are hopping at 9.30am on a Monday morning. Beautiful spot, imaginative menu.
by Trevor

by Richard C.
Trust in Brett the bartender. He won't steer you wrong.
by Josh C
The Flemish Beef Stew was very good.
by David L.
Get the clams & chorizo-save your clams & pass on the 2 ribeye offerings. Service & atmosphere were nice. Note: we arrived at 5:10p and were 1st to be seated; can see why people would wait though...
by Mark L.
The service and the Alder Burger are amazing. Will definitely be back for both.
by Patrick d.
Try the delectable duck duck potatoes. Potato wedges fried in duck fat, topped with a thick creamy sauce and a fried dug egg. Yum!
by Jenny D.
Endorsed: Potatoes Bravas. Korean Fried Chicken. Bim Bop Bacon & Eggs. The Alder Burger. Liquid thumbs up: Improved Whiskey Cocktail.
by Andy M.
Great food, but they lose marks for not having any baby changing facilities.
by Francis Storr
The food is really good but of the "large" plates the only one that is worth it is the pork snitzchel. The rest are pretty tiny
by Travis W.
Just because you order it doesn't mean you'll get it. Don't bother to wait.
by Jeff M
Are you hungry? Don't bother. The food is delicious, but you'll wait. And wait. And wait. And wait.
by Stephanie C.
The Bim Bop Bacon & Eggs for brunch is like whoa... Their music selection of primarily 90's hip-hop is pretty solid too.
