Six beer sampler, brewer's choice.
by megan
Really great list of beers terrific ipas. But Do not order any food here. Ridiculously overpriced for extremely mediocre food.
by Pavan C
No idea what part of the pig a wing comes from, but you should order it.
by Ilan E
Three words.. Black butte porter.
by Natarajan C.
Outstanding beer selection; I recommend the Pacific Wonderland Lager. =) The elk burger was fabulous, too.
by Leah D
You'll best want to stick to things that get along with beer, like the pretzel and then the burgers
by Enrique G.
Really good beer and some cool stuff at the gift shop. They have a smaller menu the some of the other breweries and it's a little expensive but food is very good. It's usually crowed on the weekends.
by Adam S.
Fantastic place! Get the apple&onion appetizer. Veggy burger and Mac & cheese were both great. Best brewerie in Portland we found.
by Christian D.
Excellent beer and food.
by Jen C.

by Ryan G.
Great beer and great food.
by Matt B.
Home of the legendary black butte porter - roast, smoke, coffee, delicious, light and crushable. Be on the lookout for any of their vintage stuff that's available. Mega awesome burgers!
by Bin Y.
I'm not a beer drinker, but the Black Butte Whiskey is a must!
by Stacey L
Good selection of beers available only at their brewery.
by Ron F
The crab roll is pretty great. Actually all the food is surprisingly good for a brewery. There's a special beer list too but you have to ask for it.
by Andrew C.
SOFT PRETZEL! and everything else. I really liked the yellow belly burger.
by Andrew M
Flights of taster beers for under $10 🍺
by David G
The food and beer are great here. I especially like to visit in the fall to sample their creative brews.
by Mangai Rollin

by Kapil G
Get the beer sampler before ordering a full size brew. Oh and get a pub pretzel too.
by Khris
Absolutely ADORE that they have local wines on the menu for those of us that prefer wine. Sidewalk picnic tables great and small to watch the streetcars go by. Crab roll and pinot noir for the win! 🍷
by Wrigley F.
Overfried fries&the most tasteless quinoa burger you can find.Sample beer tray is ok,but overall feels like a soulless place.Whatever legacy it might have had in the past is now gone.
by Nilot J
Get the house sausage and garlic fries.
by Morgan L

by Jeff B.
Great atmosphere but I think we just had a 1 in a 100 bad experience with service. Beers were good.

The quinoa burger was delicious. Would eat again. It was a gamble because I'm not vegetarian, but I would pick it over regular burger again. To be fair, I had The Hypocrite (quinoa burger with bacon)

Fire King IRA and the porter molasses beer nuts are all you need.
by Robert H
Great pub food with a bit of a wait. They'll buzz you when your table is open so you might as well grab a drink at a neighboring bar while you wait.
by Andre Wyatt
Great decor. All their excellent beers on tap.
by Shawn C.
If Jubel is on the menu, get it. Cheers!
by Akshay P.
Midweek is best here. Probably not so good for your work productivity but good to avoid the crowd. Whatever your priority may be, plan accordingly

by Alex B.
Lived up to its reputation -- fantastic bartenders and beers, and a great place to drink and eat for several hours. I'd return every day if I could.
by John C.
This is a goto spot whenever I'm in town. The food is superb and you can't beat the beer. Need proof? Check out all the hardware on the back wall. Nothing beats Black Butte Porter from a tap.
by Joshua K.
There's usually a wait to get in from about 6:30pm onwards so go put your name down and then visit Powell's while you're waiting!

Just get the $7 house merlot. They'll lie to you to try to get you to spend more, but the $8 merlot tastes like weak crap.
