We dined at PCG on 5/19 and had a fabulous experience. My initial reaction to the prices were that NO steak was worth $40! But I quickly realized we were paying for a lot more than the steak... the view of the city from our windowside table was nothing short of spectacular. The service was outstanding... attentive without being bothersome. Our two exchange students were blown away... they said that PCG rivaled anyplace they had been in their home countries of Switzerland and Denmark. After too many dinners at Elmer's and Applebee's THIS is what they envisioned American dining to be. Total bill for 4 + tip was just over $200. And as stated... I felt we got what we paid for. Not something we would do often but for a really special occasion(in this case the girls' first prom, something uniquely American I'm told)I would return to PCG in an instant.

30 floors up and a great view of the city. However, they should treat their windows for glare so you can take advantage of the views for great pictures.
by Ruben A.
Fantastic view, inventive cocktails and good food.

Their steak and seafood combos rock! I like the Filet and Scallops. Get whatever is fresh.

So, another disappointment. Cheched the website before coming from Hillsboro there was no mention that there is no happy hour on nye. Was not really interested in a big dinner. Oh well off we go.
by Bb M.
Try the Calamari - #Calamari with an Asian twist. Always a crowd-pleasure and generous portion, even at Happy Hour (which doesn't end until 7pm). #foodiechats #foodporn #Portland (via @Foodspotting)
by Lynn A.
The lamb Burger is da bomb!!!
by Shane V.
Excellent views of the city from the top of the tower. Ver good and expensive food, both food and meet. Impresive wine range. Probably the best restaurant in town.
by Nacho A.
For lunch, get the pork tenderloin. Absolutely best I've ever had.
by Brian W.
Despite what one might think the portion sizes here are massive. Don't over order.
by Sasha A.
If you want your happy hour left overs you paid for, don't bother, they won't box it up. Look elsewhere.
by Ken M.
All ways has had a awesome atmosphere and view few years ago would say food not so much but now great each time gets better and better
by Steve K.
I left nice review, and that still stands - but had to caution others to triple check the card they return to you @ the bar. I was given the wrong one back & left not knowing; it's been a HUGE hassle.

by Rod S.
Great day and great view
by Kathryn B.
Awesome views!
by Stelvio G.
The steak sandwich on the happy hour was fine (crispy onions were WAY too salty), but seriously... just come for the view & leave. Portland has way better food around to waste your money here.
by Kasey
Agree with others that the calamari was not great -- far too breaded. Drinks also aren't a great deal, but the views are killer. Grab a quick drink and view, then move on.
by Ryan W.
If you want an amazing window seat I would suggest making a dinner reservation closer to 5 because there are window seats available and by 6:30 the place is packed. Amazing food and great people!
by Reese P.
30th floor for a beautiful view of the city. Surprisingly, the calamari dish is great! Happy hour will always be crowded with hipsters though!
by Everyday
Cookies are amazing, but you should know there are 6 of them. Big ones.
by Patricia D.
This doesn't look nearly as good as it tastes. Chocolate valrona mousse WITH mint chocolate chip semifreddo AND creme anglais. Save some space for it, so worth it!
by Galina O.

by ArtJonak
Piano player tonight is blind.
by Eric M.
Awesome place. Only gripe: not only do the tables get the best views of the city, but TVs as well. Placed above the barstools so bar patrons can't see them. Ass backwards.
by Marcel G.
Not a fan of the calamari - very heavily breaded and tastes like orange chicken! Loved the seasonal berry mojito and the crispy shrimp/crab roll for starters.
by Jilla D.
Spectacular view. Awesome place to enjoy some appetizers and cocktails. Can't miss if you're visiting Portland!
by Kylie F.
Make sure and try the Peaches & Cream fur dessert. It's delectable!

by Jeremy B.
The view is fantastic, especially at night and the happy hour is great - M-W 9-close, Th-Sa 10-close.
by Nick F.
Bartenders won't let you just order and pay for a drink if they even think you're going to be sitting at a table in the restaurant. Good view, good food, but frustrating policy.
by Robert L.

by Ryan M.
Mojitos are delish! Make sure you ask for the traditional recipe (not their sour mix...just simple syrup)
by Rebecca S.
There’s nothing over $6 on the Happy Hour menu at this fancy spot where you can see the entire valley from the 30th floor. Get a good-sized Caesar salad for $2 and spring rolls for $3.
by Cheapism
Lovely city view of Portland from the 30th floor. Fabulous Happy Hour (the calamari is a classic) & great piano music!
by Christian A.
On a clear day, look south-east to view the sun setting on Mt. Hood. Looks like a monolithic pile of Yukon gold mashed potatoes.
