• I have eaten in almost all of Portland's fine restaurants. Il Piatto remains my favorite. In fact, last winter I had a salmon dish that was the best meal of my life.

• Il Piatto is a great restaurant, i would go back anytime. I went there for my 33rd birthday, and the service and food was out of this world. Thank you for the great memories.

• Certainly one of the top Italian restaurants. Great food, ambiance make this my favorite place when I visit town. Very creative menu, not your standard Italian restaurant. They also have outdoor seating which is nice during summer months

• We went on a friend’s recommendation. The cook came out and spoke with us about our selections when ordering. This is not standard American Italian fare. We had the smoked chicken and the rabbit dishes. The people there are determined to please. We went away with memories of a delightful Friday evening dinner and carried away extra deserts to enjoy later with our friends at home.

• WORST SERVICE. Waited for over two hours and never received my food - no apologies from the waitstaff. I'm kinda glad because it didn't look very good anyways.

• Delightful swiss alp meets PDX atmosphere. Pancakes worth the 20 minute cooking time. Vegan, veg, gluten free options makes for a great place to take a large group full of dietary restrictions.
