The "kisses" were fun tiny tapas. I had them all!
by Ingrid A
Skirt steak was amazing! Duck liver mousse equals amazing... Albacore tartar and don't forget the bacon wrapped dates
by Ingrid A
One of my fav spots! The octopus was in my top favs. The coppa was really good as well. I'll be back again soon and will add more!
by Ingrid A
grilled octopus & papas bravas!
by Lalo H.
Chef's tasting menu is the way to go. Figure out what you love and go back for seconds. Take their advice on wine too.
by Brook Shelley
I've been to Portland 3x and I've gone to Toro Bravo every time. Grilled octopus and paella are must-haves. But all their food is on point. Follow your heart and your belly will not be disappointed.
by Ben M
Green strawberry salad and cheese ice cream!
by Vicki N.
You really can't go wrong with any of the small plates or entrees on the menu.
by Melissa L.
Go with a few people and order a whole bunch of things to share. But expect to wait for a table.
by Alan M.
One of my Portland favorites! Try the squid ink pasta, the grilled octopus & the house smoked coppa steak. They're so good (esp. the pasta) we drive from Seattle just to grab dinner and drive back! :D
by Alaa S.
I can't believe for a restaurant that is only open from 5-10 that they do not take reservations. Tried to get a table for 3 last Tues at 7 pm n they took my name n cell n told me it would be 2.5 HR
by BBQ bill C
Everything is incredible. You can't leave without having Patatas bravas and the manchego burger.
by Kelli Y.
계절별로 메뉴가 바뀌는 타파스 전문 식당 겸 pub. 무지하게 시끄러워 얘기하기 어려움. 타파스는 대체로 괜찮으나 파에아는 별로라는.
by Yoon A
Everything we had - grilled octopus, Brussels sprouts, meatballs, and coppa steak - all were delicious with complex flavors that stood out. Cute and small - expect a wait, but well worth it!
by Sara
Iberico skirt steak, Barcelona kisses, and Kyle's cocktails are fantastic. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu.
by Pat M.
Excellent food. Head to Secret Society while you’re waiting for a table.
by Jökull Sólberg A
Amazing food! Definitely try the Paella!!
by James L

Potatoes Brava, everything!
by Colleen K
Expect a good wait but it's totally worth it. Do try the kisses as they are quite unique. Bacon wrapped dates and octopus are delicious. Paella is really really good. Sangria is exceptional!!
by Ritika I
Very tight spot. Long wait. But the burger was super tasty.
by Le Jordan
Great food, tried to enjoy dinner with my honey but waitress was too flirty with him while dismissing me. It gets on my nerves and it does not increase their tip.
by Maggie Williams
Expect an 1+ hour wait. French kisses and bacon wrapped dates make it worth it.
by Melon L.
No good Spanish food. I'm Spaniard and the food here tonight was not like in SpIn at all.. Avoid this restaurant since it is also a bit pricy for what you get.. The paella was burnt and not good..
by Cesar A
The "spanish" food was not at all as it should be. Im from spain and i came here for a good spanish dinner. The food was spicy and had spices we dont use in spain. Not to mention the paella, just no.
by Erika S
The Sidra 👌 the beef cheeks and the octopus are excellent.
by Megan Krumm
The tasting menu is incredible.
by Aya S.
1) salted cod, 2) paella!
by Ali O.
Potatoes Bravas are so delicious and we licked the bowl clean from our braised lamb.
by Erin M.
Potatoes and pasta was good... Really really long wait for the paella... Hope it is great
by Shweta J
Tasting menu is the way to go. If you like good food, you will not be disappointed
by Ian P.
One of my all around favorite restaurants. Salads are huge and delicious. Almost too many small plates to choose from. I'm rarely disappointed with a dish even when I feel like I'm going out on a limb
by Daniel Turner
Good tapas
by David S.
Radicchio salad. 'Nuff said.
by Scot Olsen

Delicious! Must go!
by Jen C
our party changed shrank and grew a couple times during the 2hr wait (which we expected, as a party of 7 on a Friday). The hostess took our changes with very good humor
by Valerie D
Be prepared to talk loud so you can have a conversation. Great eclectic menu.
by Brandon M
The tortilla has yet to be mentioned and is so underrated. Best dish ever the potatoes were cooked to perfection...so soft and just melts in your mouth. Get it!!

Squid ink pasta = the best entree I have ever eaten
by Meredith J.
Came with three friends and we shared appetizers, entrees and desserts. *Everything* was beyond amazing. Heavenly food and incredible service!
by James C.
Amazing squid ink pasta andoctopus a la plancha. Dates were great and French kiss were satisfying but felt more like dessert. I would pass on the seelbach cocktail and drunken pork.
by Anthony K.
Their Bacon wrapped dates are so scrumptious they could be a dessert. One of the better Paellas iMve had in recent years...a must get
by Summer G.
GF items available, but you should chat with the staff, and they'll help arrange.

by Jason R.
Such a great atmosphere! The brussel sprouts are absolutely amazing!
by Violetta C.
No idea what the fuss is about. Seriously some of the worst tapas I've ever had. We had about 8 dishes between four people. The octopus was killer, but everything else was near inedible. Skip it.

by James G.
Amazing!!! Good things to order: radiccio salad, scallops with romesco, Moroccan tuna, glazed carrots, lamb with apricots & noodles, potatoes, chocolate Milton rhubarb & strawberries.
by Ori A.
GREAT service. I disliked my cod and my server, Amber, took it off my bill without my even asking. Sweet people.
by Ellen C.
Stick to other recommendations and skip the cod. The potatoes are almost sweet - way too sweet to pair with fish.
by Ellen C.
Get the Chef's Choice... well worth the $30 per person!
by Adam E.
The chef's choice is the way to go!
by s m.

by Daniel P.
French kiss = addictive
by Julie M.
730 on a Saturday...super busy ie 90 min wait. Apparently everyone was ordering the paella...which is normally delicious...but this time it came out too salty and burned...server took it off our bill.
by Diane T.
Get a seat at the bar if it's just 2. You get a great view of the restaurant. The orange salad is delicious.
by Deb P.
Grilled flatbread w truffle cheese is yummy!
by Vrinda
Fred Armisen is here.
by Winston S.
Toro Bravo is about as Spanish as the French revolution, but this is damn good food. Get there right when it opens — at five — and be ready to fight for your spot. [Eater 38 Member]

by Helen C.

by Micah S.
want to go
by Nick
If you have to wait, you can wait in front or in their little cove and get served. They'll move you to a 'real' table (read: larger) if you want, but you get the same attention, service and food.
by Jack S.
The braised lamb is the best! Really good noodles and apricot flavor is fab
by Phil H.
The best Tapas in PDX. Get the Copa Steak and the Braised Lamb...you will be in heaven!
by Matt S.
Items to get: 1) Squash Dumplings 2)chicken + cashew meatballs 3) White Truffle Omelette.
by Ricky E.
The tasting menu is a great deal! Smaller portions of a lot of greatest hits plus whatever the chef feels like sending out.
by Trina S.
get the chicken liver mousse but you'll need extra toast.
by Brooke-Lynn L.
Get the burger! I know it seems out of place in a tapas place, but it is exceptionally good. Maybe not on your first visit...but it just gives you another reason to come back!
by Sylvan
Damn! Try the Oxtail Croquettes they are L.E.G.E.N.D.A.R.Y! Expensive place but the food will make you squeal like a pig!
