With an enormous projection screen, competent staff, and a surprisingly robust food menu, it's hard to think of a sports bar with more positive energy than this place.

Great beer selection and free basketball shooting game! Super friendly bartender.

Awesome food. Good beer choices. Free games. Great people. Check it out.

Great place to hang out and watch the game. If you need a snack to share the nachos are top notch!

Technically, this place should be called Spirit of 76-77.

All tables are community tables that seat 12+....based on how close you want to be. can be packed and cleared out quickly after a game.

Won't accept foreign driving licenses as ID - bring a passport 😓

Very fun atmosphere! Good food and they have some games like skee ball, basketball, and foosball.

The Portland cocktail bar is for real sport aficionados. Toast a win or drown your sorrows in craft cocktails like the Black Russian, with Stumptown cold-brewed coffee and a ginger beer made in-house.

Great sports bar. Pop-A-Shot, huge screens, great beer/drinks selection, and good service even when slammed. <--basketball pun

A great communal sports bar. Huge projection screen for the highlight game of the day, with many other screens for anything else. Tasty food. Recommended.

Good times, good drinks, great sports.

The Blazer fan favorite is back with a new menu. Order anything with chili on it and you can't lose, and don't forget to get a free pop-a-shot or skee-ball game in at halftime.
by Serious Eats
Fun sports bar! Play Skee-Ball, Pop-a-Shot, and more while you watch a game.

Great bar. Spacious. The wings were mediocre at best, go for something else on the menu.

This place is great. BUT they definitely need to do something about their food menu. I just wanted some fries but couldn't order them separate without ordering a burger. The food sucks.

No Fear #pinball gives bonus credits better than the sign, and it's fun w/ clear objectives! #3foraBuck beats #5for2

Fried chickpeas. Goddamn.

Limited menu, but surprisingly good food for a pub. Try the wings, burgers, and avocado sandwich.

Try the "Tails & Trotters" Pork French Dip - The pork is tender, the Au jus is awesome, and the bead sops it up great! (via @Foodspotting)

This spot is INCREDIBLE! Such a huge space! There are three bars, and a beautiful espresso bar here!!! (4 of 4 petals via Fondu)

Cool place and nice staff but apparently management didn't know it would be packed w NBA game across street and national championship on tv
by Jared W.
A sports bar for actual sports fans. The vibe in here is somewhere between a Hooter's and a pep rally. Great drink selection, but the food is disappointing.

The owner and the drinks here have the most personality. There hot toddy is made like no other

Spirit augments traditional sports bar trappings with indoor bike parking, a line of hoops-shooting games, and a menu sporting old Topps cards.

The bar fills up quick so get there early for games

Best place in Portland to watch a Blazer's game besides the Rose Garden - but get there early or you won't have a seat!

Great spot to watch your favorite college or pro team! Plus, you can play pop-a-shot basketball during half-time!

Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. It feels like a rowdy high school gym. Watch the game on the wall and drink a 20-ounce "imperial pint" of Yakima Glory Dark Ale.

Beware the $6 well whiskey and cokes. Ouch!

The talent behind this new Lloyd District sports bar—the same guys who did Ace Hotel, Clyde Common, and Olympic Provisions—could probably give the White House a successful relaunch.

Also the almond butter sandwich is bomb.
