Lovely dining experience in a cozy, romantic setting. Presentation, preparation and service were outstanding all around. Very impressive blending of various ingredients made for unique dishes.Food was excellent , and not too pricey, the tasting menu for only $ 65.00 per person for 6 courses ( terrific ). Highly recommended.

What a treat! We found this charming restaurant almost by accident, and for two hours we felt like we had been transported to Provence. My mouth is still watering!

Wonderful cuisine would be enhanced with just one or two classic French dishes such as frog legs, calves liver or sweetbreads. Nevertheless, fresh high quality cuisine in a small quaint bistro from a small custom daily menu is hard to beat. Value is also tough to beat as its husband and wife team keep overhead down and service up. Small dining room can get be noisy but we find it worth the risk at this BYO with wine store across the street. The best of red bank for sure and maybe NJ.

I am a student in french culinary institute, i went there for a dinner and the food was outstanding, fresh truffle risotto the best, they also have a tasting menu at half of the price you can find in NY, the duck confit is my favorite as the traditionnal bouillabaisse of Marseille, well if i could work there i will but for now i just go eat as much as i can. I recommend for real french food amateur.

We were very disappointed during our last two monthly visit to Bienvenue. It seems as if the kitchen is getiing careless with taste and presentation. On previous visits we had good experiences but these last visits took us of there roster of regulars. I had the lamb shank and my wife the chicken, they both had that "freezer taste" to it, which can be very frusterating when your paying $50 a head. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Quaint french dining experience: Bienvenue replaced La Petit France so don't be confused - its right on the corner of E. Front & Wharf Ave (next to a florist). If you've always wanted to try French food without all the formality, this is a great place to experience the pleasure. Very few tables inside, so large parties definitely need reservations. There is also outdoor dining and BYOB is always a plus to save some extra $. The duck was delicious and desserts are worth ordering them all to share among the table. Small staff, but I didn't feel rushed at all. I would definitely go back as it was very affordable for french food.
