Bill's Barbecue Reviews

I ordered 'cued chicken. I could not believe what I saw....A precooked chicken breast was retreived from the refrigerator before being placed in the microwave for heating. Once nuked to perfection it was garnished with 'cue sauce. Ergo, BBQ chicken. Unbelievable. There's no point in discussing further. This is poorly done fast food masquerading as BBQ.

Besides the great barbecue they also have excellent burgers pies and limeade. one store even has mac and cheese, and they do take credit cards as well.

Bill's serves up a pork sandwich, not BBQ. First it is placed in a regular oven, no wood, no chips, no briquetts, no pellets...maybe the smoke from the breath of the cooks cigarette. Then it is machine chopped and boiled in pork stock. According to USDA regulation this just isn't BBQ.

I have been eating Bill's Barbecue since the late 1940's-when there was curb service, hand cut shoestring potatess and Grapettes?Changes have occurred over the years-ie. smaller, slaw on the side, frozen fries, etc.Haven't been there for a few years. Looking forward to a couple in December. PLEASE: Hold the soy!!!!!!

Yes! That's exactly what I meant: Bill's "BarbeCUBES". Of course, there is the Bill's Barbecue we all think is delicious.....but PLEASE....leave out those 'soy-protein CUBES'!!! Every now and then, when the cost of fresh hams is a bit high, Bill's Barbecue puts these little cubes in with its minced pork. They look a lot like little sponges....and at first, that's what I thought they WERE! Of course, I was relieved to find they were edible...BUT STILL...I was paying for pork, not soy CUBES. No where was it listed on the menu as "minced barbecue PLUS SOY CUBES". Isn't this a bit dishonest? At least you could let us choose: "With...or without...CUBES?"Please, fix this!!
