  • foodcritic1 reviewUpon first arriving at The Bull, I was greeted by a rude brown haired girl behind the cash register, and told that my waitress would be with me in a moment. I was then led through a clean, well decorated although poorly lit dining room and seated at a table with horribly stiff chairs. I was then handed an over priced menu and asked what kind of "stuff" i would like to drink. I ordered a Corona with lime. Upon looking at the overly priced menu, I had decided on the 12oz. prime rib cooked rare with a side of crab legs and a baked potato. I chose the clam chowder soup for a starter. my soup was thick, creamy and rich, just the way I like it, and i thought that this was going to be a wonderful dining experience. But to my dismay, when my steak and crab legs arrived, I was greeted by possibly the worst cut of prime rib i have ever seen, and one small crab leg that seemed to be the width of a pencil, which mind you, I had paid $14.99 extra for the crab LEGS (plural), and only recieved 1 puny front leg. The prime rib was well over cooked, and dry, i attempted to eat a small portion of it, but it was too dry even after dipping it in the au jus to even swallow. the baked potato was obviously from a few nights back and had been microwaved and re-wrapped in tin foil. the ends of the potato were dried up to a crisp, and the middle was spongy and pasty. Upon alerting the waitress that the food was not to my liking, she said that there was nothing that could be done about it, because that was the only prime rib made that night and it all looked like that. and that the crab leg was supposed to weigh 16oz. I asked her if she would mind bringing out the food scale, because i could assure her that the tiny little leg weighed no more than 2oz. of course, she rudely denied my request. With out hardly touching my dinner, I asked for the check and left. All-in-all, a give the establishment 1 star for their soup and Corona.
