O'Connell's Pub Reviews
Sunday chicken wings, pretty good!
by Richard A.
Very good burger
Cheeseburger, O'Connell's Amber Lager and onion rings were the best!!
by John M.
THEY HAVE BOODLES!!
by Stephen 🍀🚙💣 W.
Wouldn't come back. Ordered roast beef and I couldn't even chew through it. Sawed thru 2 bites and had enough. If it were me I would have take it off the tab but I steadily paid 8$$

Best burgers in town!!
by Shelly P.
Burgers are phenomenal but their corned beef is also amazing. Make sure you order a Guinness with whichever one you order. It brings out the flavors in their food for some reason. Trust me.

Great burgers, great onion rings.
by Perry N.
That was my first visit last week and unfortunately, either the onion rings or the Roast Beef with Au Ju made me puke before leaving....not a great first impression.

Shake Shack’s Danny Meyer calls this “one of the most satisfying cheeseburgers you’ll ever have.” Bonus points for Cardinals games blaring at the bar. More places to eat like a local: tandl.me/12ufz7c

I love the old, poorly-lit atmosphere of this place. The burgers are as good as everyone says, and the beer selection is solid. My favorite 3am bar in St. Louis!
by Darren O.
The burgers are awesome and I LOVE their grilled cheese!!
by Alexis W.
A friend told me to eat here when I was in town...said I had to try the burger. I was all sorts of excited but honestly? My burger was not good at all and the service was atrocious.

Bunch of posers talking hamburgers/roastbeef. Hot salami with American cheese on French.
by Christopher C.
Great oconnells amber ale
best burger. but the salad is the hidden gem at this pub!
by Allison T.

There is only salad dressing. Awesome. Seriously delicious.
by Keith P.
Good veggie burger and atmosphere
by Katie H.
Very good burger!!
by Robert M.
Terrible service from very rude waitresses, but the burgers are worth it. Don't forget to get some onion rings also.
by Joseph G.
Fish special was really good
by Craig H.
If you are not starving but pretty hungry the house salad is to die for! AMAZING homemade dressing!
by Natalie M.
Good burgers, sit in the kings chair!
by Adam K.
Chosen as 2011 Best 3 AM Bar in RFT's Best of St. Louis issue.
if you must go (service is terrible, but they continue to get away with it) order the roast beef sandwich. last THREE times they messed up my burger! :p

Great Fish and Chips on Friday!
by Chris B.
The O'Connell's Amber Ale is one of the best beers :)
by Scott D.

Roast Beast, I feel an excellent food coma coming on.
by Jamie C.
Very good burgers... They run a bit rare, so if you want it cooked medium ask for medium well. Other than that, it's awesome.
by Zach B.
Saturday special.... Rib Tips, mmm, mmm, mmm.
by Jamie C.
You've made the right decision to come here. Have a seat and order one of the best burgers in St. Louis.
I agree the burgers are good but the roast beef is the best in the city. Add swiss cheese.
by Craig H.
Forget the amazing burgers, you've got to get the roast beef sandwich. TONS of meat at only $7.
by Justin W.
Burgers of course
by Jessica P.
by Ami G.
FYI...No tomato's. But delicious burgers!
by Amy S.
Everyone gets the Burger, but I recommend the Roast Beef Sandwich! They make fresh roast beef every day, and nothing beats it with Swiss & Au Jus. Don't forget a side of Onion Rings - best in St. Lo
by Karen P.
So everyone hits the burger here, right? Which you should too, but before you do, check out the not so secret soup du jour menu hanging by the waitress station. Find the chowder and mark your calendar
