Try the crispy potatoes!
by Craig V.
Good pancakes and French toast but terrible service. A real shame. Expensive as ever too.
by Michael O.
Literally the only time I've wanted to leave a restaurant mid-meal. The lack of service is both infuriating and deplorable.

Exceeded expectations! Food was delicious- seed bread and meatballs are a must. A little pricey for portion sizes

Vegetarians, vegans, and omnivores can find something to love at this smart, innovative restaurant, which makes vegetable-centric food delicious and even indulgent, all in a fun, lively atmosphere.
Romantic atmosphere, creative and tasty (upscale) food.
by Frances James
The smoked duck wings were amazing and they really know how to cook vegetables.

Sprouted bread with chèvre app and the clams and meatball entree (sounds odd but it's delicious).
by Amanda S.
Good spot for brunch as there's no wait and even takes reservations. Red corn pancakes are unique and grilled country bread with scrambled eggs is tasty. Slow service though...
by Bommy Cha
Start with the sprouted seed bread (served with chèvre), and order the buttermilk-marinated chicken thighs - both are incredible!

The koji quail, one of the city's best quail dishes. Juicy and plump little mofos!
Sprouted seed bread sounds like something you'd eat on a picnic in 1967 at a Dead show, but actually, it's fricking brilliant.
The sardine dish with steelhead roe is so damn good.
Love love love this place!

Good bar area for a drink and a chat with no food.

Order the sardines. Friggin fantastic!

Meatballs... Get 'em
by Katie F.
Even bread at Verbena is very special. The simple (exceedingly fresh, of course) Acme version is served on a small wooden board with house-made butter and scales of sea salt.

Carrots & goat cheese with seeded bread
by Megan Rilla
Very Rich table or Nico's. Imaginative dishes. Vegetable dishes are off the chain. Proteins are hit or miss. Swordfish is divine. Desserts are a must.
by Victoria O.
The veggie dishes standout more so then the fish/meat dishes.
by Sara W.
Hella fancy veggies. Good cocktails, great wines, and the best restaurant espresso I've ever had. Enormous pour of Willet 4-yr Rye for $12. Hell yes.
by Eric D.
The crew behind Berkeley's Gather have opened their first cityside restaurant, with cocktails, vegetable-centric seasonal fare, and a glowing wall of pickles.
Come for the quail, stay for the kaffir lime cheesecake
