  • Check this place out for some very good, and comforting, bistro fare in an oddly configured space.

  • Passion fruit punch was a solid choice for a non-alcoholic drink.

  • Great, simply prepared fresh food. Love the tartare

  • If I had to name one standout, comfortable-yet-elegant, satisfying & delicious special occasion meal in SF, my dinner at Urchin would be it. Loved everything from the cocktails to dessert.

  • Really interesting menu, but everything was just a bit off. Meh.

  • The pork belly and blood sausage was paired brilliantly with blood orange. The armadillo cocktail (mezcal and absinthe) was weird in the best way possible.

  • Gougére was freakin amazing. I can't get past it

  • With a creative slew of cocktails this is a great place for after work banter and drinks. The French influenced bistro also has a unique food menu so come hungry and try new things!

  • Awesome service . Had a refreshing octopus salad and cheese selection was impressive.

  • The drink in this picture is called "Down the rabbit hole" and contains carrot. I'm more than willing to take one for the team and see how many I have to drink until I can see in the dark.

  • Duck liver mouse and pork belly were the best I've ever had!!! Service at the bar is top notch as well.

  • Spaghettini (with uni) was creamy, but it was actually dairy-free!

    55555 by Iris H.

  • A bit underwhelmed here. My mom makes better deviled eggs. Cocktails had nice presentation but lacked flavorful taste. The urchin dish was ok. Oh and the service was poor and inattentive.

  • The service was pretty slow, and the food was pretty meh. I don't think it's worth the cost.

  • The staff is very nice and the place is cosy but spacious.  Amazing Duck confit!

  • Trout is a great dish and the egg^3 is awesome. The mains didn't hold me though. Sadly, skip the uni spaghetti. A disappointment especially if you've had the better version at Mizumi in Vegas.

  • The menu is anchored by enough bistro workhorses such as hand-cut steak tartare, panisses with ratatouille and steak frites to please hardcore Francophiles.

  • Good cocktails if you like bourbon or rye. Good service too.

  • Ocean trout fume, deviled egg with uni, Hiro sandwich with marrow soaked fries, great service too.

  • Bistrot classics are well done - but I found the more adventurous dishes to be over ambitious. Still a nice addition to Valencia especially if you like sea urchin.

  • The duck liver is fantastic.
