  •  Must get the Market Shots

  •  Pumpkin bread, kale salad, black cod, oh my!

  •  Get the kale salad and bavette steak. Finish with the boozy affogato. All amazing. The wine by the ounce is a great deal.

  •  I wanted to buy a jug of the Market Shot and take it home.

  •  Bacon Beignets! Very down to earth restaurant, delicious, concentrated menu selection that changes seasonally. Make sure to book reservations WAY in advance, it's hard to get into for sure.

  •  Definitely worth a visit. House-blended wine was excellent. Service attentive and friendly. Would recommend and revisit next time I'm in San Francisco.

    55555 by David A.

  •  The food was great. Worthy of the Michelin star. The quail especially was brilliant.

    55555 by Sankaranarayanan S.

  •  Stick to the affordable house wine and you can order all of the bouchees and appetizers - they're divine! And if there's a soup, you have to order it! Perello has a knack for soups.

  •  House wine is a steal and the vegetable cassoulet was out of this world!

    55555 by Kimberly O.

  •  Baked Cherrystone clam (with fennel, mushroom, bacon, kale, and white corn) bouche and the Sonoma duck breast with lacinato kale main from my last visit.

    55555 by Elliott P.

  •  White corn polenta, baked eggplant, white corn soup, and the cassoulet. You can thank me later.

    55555 by Michel A.

  •  Market Shot.

    55555 by Ksenya S.

  •  Bacon beignet! Yes!

    55555 by Alex S.

  •  Can't go wrong with the Lumberjack Cake for desert!

    55555 by Morgan A.

  •  Get the duck!

    33333 by Will K.

  •  Rude experience at the door. Was excited to try this place but walked out after being ignored for a while. Oh well

    22222 by David R.

  •  Delightful. One Michelin Star restaurant is a hidden gem in Castro area. Bread is only on request. Be careful, tables are extremely close together and it's difficult to get out!

    55555 by Kelly P.

  •  Get the profiterole for dessert.

    55555 by Branden R.

  •  Get the iced coffee... Cold brewed with bay leaves, juniper, and star anise.

    55555 by Dapper D.

  •  Incredible food, but their wine list is short and expensive. Stick with the market shots and wine by the ounce, you'll be happy.

    55555 by Kenneth B.

  •  The steak prepared rare was fantastic.

    55555 by chris i.

  •  Cannot stress enough how excellent of a spot this is. No bullshit, just real, tasty food. Plain and simple. Eat the everything and trust your waiter. Sit at the bar facing the kitchen if you can!

    55555 by Sam S.

  •  Go with a tiny group, or by yourself, and sit at the bar, order wine, and those frites (!). If you want to go with a larger group, go very late on a weekday, or make a reservation.

    55555 by timoni w.

  •  France's is an amazing restaurant with very high quality food. You should make sure to reserve well in advance.

    55555 by Kay K.

  •  Start with a market shot, hits the spot every time!

    55555 by Sergey M.

  •  if they have it, get the chicken liver mousse. it's better than foie gras. i'd pass on the bacon donuts, but love their soups and steak.

    55555 by cyn k.

  •  Lives up to the hype and save room for dessert

    55555 by Andrea Weiss W.

  •  Try the lumberjack cake.

    55555 by Anton S.

  •  One of the top 3 places I've eaten at in San Francisco.

    55555 by Adam F.

  •  Mish would really like the beat salad.
