  •  Must try if you love yakitori or skewers. Interior design is awesome. Makes you feel like you are in another world.

  •  An izakaya spot that's tiny, quirky -- you can't miss the Beatles memorabilia -- and also satisfyingly simple. The ramen is good, but the skewers are exceptional.

    55555 by SFGate

  •  Get the okonomiyaki and the pan-fried soy and brown butter mochi wrapped in nori.

    55555 by Anton S.

  •  Great hole in the wall izakaya! The mentaiko chicken thigh skewers and beef belly skewers are delicious! And I don't even like bellies! Come early, before 7:30pm for dinner to avoid wait.

  •  homemade Gyoza

    55555 by Ping

  •  Great little spot! Service can be slow, but the ramen and yakitori are worth waiting for. Especially since you can pass the time perusing Beatles books and memorabilia.

  •  Halu's shining grace is not the ramen - but the yakitori. Juicy and delicious - the tontoro is a definite must order. The decor and the attentive waitstaff are another plus.

    55555 by Ess S.

  •  Such good ramen! Though the outside may look like a drug front inside is super cool and cozy.

    55555 by Jole P.

  •  Get the Erichan special

    33333 by Gerard R.

  •  Great yakitori, and sake/shoju selection. Get the shiso beef (very rare kababs with a shiso leaf chutney) and Erichan's special (mochi pan-fried in butter and soy and, as delicious as it sounds).

    55555 by Suraj A.

  •  Prepare to wait for at least 30 - 45 for your ramen. Add 10 min for each additional plate. Half kidding. Hearty ramen is worth it and satisfying.

    33333 by Danny Yu

  •  Mochi wrapped in seaweed!

  •  Best robata in SF. Ramen is okay--the Beatles-themed restaurant makes up for it and really adds a chill vibe to the whole dining experience. They also have yuzu shu! :)

  •  Fantastic yakitori + Beatles = win!

    55555 by cynthia w.

  •  You wouldn't usually equate ramen with The Beatles and '60s memorabilia, but thanks to their reliably delicious ramen, Halu gets away with it.

    55555 by The Feast

  •  You'd be hard-pressed to find better okonomiyaki in the city. Throw in the Beatles decor, the offal-laden yakitori, and the friendly family vibe and the tiny Halu's a win. [Eater 38 Member]

  •  Wow. I guess tesdays are the hot nights here. Just waited 58 minutes after ordering for food to come. Thank god for iPhones and trivialpursuit/wordswithfriends. Jesus I'm hungry.
