  • ChefMozWhile we were perusing the menu in the window, a woman waiting for a table leaned out the door and announced, "You must eat here. It's really good." Judging from the line of waiting diners with their noses pressed to the window next to our table, all of Inner Richmond agrees. The food is tasty, hot, and fresh; though if you're used to more common Indian food, the spicing may seem peculiar. Vegetarian samosas arrive deep-fried, piping hot, and flaky. Lentil curry and shrimp curry were both appealingly tangy; however, Burmese na'an is more reminiscent of pita bread. If you dine out so that you can order different dishes than your companion, be warned: all entrees are served family style, so you must either share or eat in shifts. (The menu does not warn about this, and servers are unwilling to vary the routine.) Tables are grouped tightly and noise is constant. Attempts at ambience (faux finished walls and hanging masks) and white tablecloths put the price range for smallish entrees around $9.50 -- affordable but not the best bargain in town.
