  • This is where the local gays hangout. Usually cheap to no cover, beer bust on the weekends and events like karaoke or tv watching get together on the week days.

  • The plain but lively "Pendulum" was the only bar geared toward black gay men in SF. It was purchased by a notoriously racist owner of block neighbor "Badlands." There were protests and even lawsuits!
