The Lady & Sons Reviews
Tastes about like cheap golden corral food. The atmosphere is fun and if you love Paula deen they sell lots of her nick knacks.
by Jeff T.
The fried chicken was delicious, and our server was friendly and attentive. Overall great experience! I would come back and bring more people!
by Amanda M.
This was a disappointment. I found the chicken to be rather salty, the sides eh, and the Mac and cheese not amazing like everyone says. Lemonade and banana pudding were the only things I enjoyed.
by Kathy B.
This place is evil. If you like this restaurant, the chances are good that you too are a stupid f***ing redneck.
by Brad C.
Absolutely amazing! I would recommend if it's your first time there, go with the Buffett! Outstanding Paula!!
by Joseph V.
The most amazing food! The people are great and the food is delicious! You have to go to Paula Deen's "The Lady and Sons," while in Savannah!
by Jenny D.
Time for the buffet
by John B.
The Host named Will is the best!
I DO NOT recommend !! Mashed potatoes are half real potatoes half boxed !! 'Nuff said....
by Kelly G.
Great price. Good food. Good time. Will be back
by Cookie C.
Way over rated and not worth the hype extremely mediocre and overpriced. Go to Belford's at City Market on W St Julian St
by Matthew S.
Get the honey pear martini!!
by Antwanika S.
It was very tasty food with we were there in the summer!
by Kristen L.
Best mashed potatoes I have ever had! Worth the 700 mile drive! :-)
by Kelly W.
Was pretty excited after the delicious starter, but sadly it went downhill from there. The meats were very dry and the sides super salty, couldn't finish any of it. Better off somewhere else.
by Dustin C.
The shrimp in butter is excellent
by Jan B.
The food was excellent and our waitress (Lisa) was very friendly. All the staff were very nice.
by Sharon N.
Calorie-laden... but still good once in awhile. When in Savannah, this place is a must. This is the only place where I actually enjoy the grits :) Loved the desserts too (yes each and every one of em)
by Mia M.
Dear Paula Deen, Your fried green tomatoes are simply not up to par.
by Tiffany R.
The buffet is awesome!
by Dawn R.
Stick to the southern food everything else is just mediocre.
by Chris B.

Y'all are haters! Paula can cook! It's like a good ol' Southern Thanksgiving with fried chicken instead of turkey! Sweet potatoes are to die for!
by Cassie M.
There is a gluten free menu!! Who would have guessed it?
by Josh C.
Get here early and make your reservation ahead of time. Take a walk around the area and you'll see amazing parks and historic buildings and statues.
by Ray R.
It's good.....but I have to say its over rated!
by David S.
Food was pretty good. Especially for buffet style. A little pricey. For 2 adults and 3 children it was over 100$ w tip. Desserts that come with buffet aren't that great. Overall I'd give it a B grade.
by Brandon R.
Overrated. If you have to go, get the buffet- the entrees are overpriced and nothing special.
Avoid the buffet at all costs!
by Rob D.

by Donnie W.

I love Paula Dean and her cookbooks. I had been looking forward to eating here, I even made my husband go to Savannah on our honeymoon so I could eat here. Hate to say I was disappointed in the food.
by Mary W.

Well if you Dont like grandmas cooking..you want like this place...its like you came over after church and she handed you a huge plate And says set down honey and eat...it so good
Get the buffet - worth the money even if you only get one plate! Great service, too.
by Katalyn Y.
Ah-mazing.... Do the buffet y'all!!!!
by Kristina R.
Overrated! Better places in Savannah. Skip it.
by Giulia M.
Mrs. Wilkes is the better choice... BTW. Paula ain't there.
by Derek W.
Make reservations ahead of time and you won't have to wait for very long!
The fresh lemonade is goooooooood :)
by Jessie T.
Definitely not worth the hype. Hoe cakes are the best thing. The wedge salad is awesome.
by Ann S.
Your paying for the name and experience here. It's on par with Golden Corral and with less of a selection.
by Jordan M.
Good Food, Good Service, Should make reservations as wait time may be long.
by Marlene S.
Overrated! If you really want good southern food find Mrs.Wilkes!
by Kacie M.
The service is absolutely exceptional. 5-Stars there. As far as the food goes, the only "standout" buffet items I found were the BBQ Baked Beans & the Pulled pork. $17.99 for the rest was a bit much.
It was ok, very disappointed as to the high cost for a Golden Corral style buffet.
by Anissa R.
Fried Chicken will having u cracked out lol
by Bubba W.
Do NOT eat the outer layer of the salmon entree... It's brown paper towel -_-
Paula Deen fans and those just looking for a good southern meal can come to The Lady and Sons for a wide variety of delicious menu options!
by Explore Georgia
The fact that anybody has said anything negative about the buffet is astounding to me. I am extremely satisfied, and very impressed. Alcoholic Arnold Palmer is a must.
by Mary-Katherine M.

by Jessica B.
Great fried green tomatoes. Good buffet with good old southern food. Love it.
by Freida R.
Try the buffet on Sundays. That way, you'll get a little taste of everything!
The best dessert is the banana pudding.
by Angela N.
Good: cheddar biscuit, tomato dill soup , 1/2 chicken salad sandwich & side salad deal. Real Blue cheese dressing!! Too greasy: hoecake, fried green tomatoes, crab soup, pork BBQ, & battered chips.
by Anastasia G.
We made reservations for 7, and weren't seated until 8. We got the buffet. The chicken was dry, mashed potatoes instant, peach cobbler tasteless. It was awful.
by Ernest S.
Try the The Buffet - Yummola (via @Foodspotting)

Bring your own Salt and Pepper as they will not bring it to the table.
by JOSHUA W.
Spend your money elsewhere. Tourist trap and disgusting food.
by Jason Y.

Overrated and overpriced for mediocre food. Nice household items in the adjacent Paula Deen store, though.
by Sybil W.
Eating here is an all day event! Takes forever to get a table. Takes forever to take an order. Takes forever to get the food. But it was pretty good.
by Dan W.
Carb lovers rejoice! Avoid the crab cakes overcooked. Forced to pre-meal shop.
by Alli W.
Everything on the menu is delicious! Order the fried green tomatoes! And literally anything else! Yum
by Corrine M.
I have recently moved here from AZ, I love Paula on her show and the food looks awesome however, 5 out of 10 people say NO! HELP ME! should I or not?
by Troy E.
Get the buffet . And show up hungry.
by Boneyard H.
I wasn't as impressed as I wanted to be; however, it is certainly worth trying. Many things about this eatery are exceptional.
by Michael T.
Lots of hype for an average buffet, stick to the menu. Ask for an alcoholic Arnold Palmer
by Matt F.
Awesome time back in April at The Lady & Son's
by LISA L.
The mint tea is like liquid crack.
by Jillian P.
Mediocre at best. Take it from a local foodie, there are MUCH better restaurants in savannah!
by Jay D.
Took a half hour to get a beer. We all finished dinner before we got our drinks.
