Delightful Italian ristorante in Capital Hill. Loved the sardine antipasto and tajarin con burro e salvia pasta. Also features a nice Piedmont focused win list. Great date place.
by Jon B.
Remarkable creative Italian dishes. Loved everything we ordered.
by Barry H.
Really good Italian restaurant, we have tried prosciutto, pasta and stake, everything was so delicious. Highly recommend to try this place.
by Vic C
The baby artichokes were scrumptious and the butter and sage pasta is simple, but so flavorful and fresh. Expect light to medium bodied red wines which are typical of the Piedmont region.
by Micaela R
Awesome place with fresh pasta.
by H K.
Try the ciopilini starter, any pasta is deelish, and finish with a glass of Amaro from Montenegro.

Tarajin. Every time.
by Adrianne H.
EVERYTHING is great. We branched out and beyond our favorites we loved the Cippolini onions stuffed with sausage. So mild and so amazing.
by Tom A
The pastas are all outstanding along with anything rabbit.
by Tom A
Everything but the butter and sage pasta and anything rabbit are always incredible.
by Tom A
Excellent wine pairing with food and they're the only restaurant that I've been to so far that uses quality extra virgin olive oil.
by Ashley Yue
The menu degustazione is a great value and totally worth it. It's not so much a tasting menu as one of each item on the menu.
by Jen A.
If you are willing to pay $100 and willing to crawl out of the restaurant, then you can try every dish on the menu.
by Zhen Z.
Pretty much everything on the menu is great. Nice handmade fresh paste and fresh ingredient. Cocktails are tasty too. Relax place to hang out.
by Mingfei Y.
The name changed. The taste of food is good but the quantity is very few for that price.
by Claudio S
The service was horrible. Our waiter left half way through the service and told the table next to us. It took 20 mins to get menus. Food was good, but not worth the wait.
by Joe A
Seeing the pasta being made was awesome! Definitely try a couple menu items if you can!

The server at the bar was very rude. He also discriminated one black guy that approached the bar and asked for a beer. Worst of the worst.
by Ricardo H.

Amazing pasta. Good bread. Yummy cheesecakes. Okay service. Make a reservation!
by Allison Y.
The Cavatelli with ragu is ridiculously tasty. A slightly heartier pasta that is packed with flavor. Just order it.

by Simon D
Pasta is amazing but don't miss side dish vegetable. Kale is great, Asian flavor in it.
by Asahi, pls.
Try the Tajarin Al Burro E Salvia (via @Foodspotting)
by Daniel M.
Don't miss the hand-cut egg pasta with butter and fried sage. Low-carbers won't be disappointed by the king salmon wrapped in chard.
by The Wall Street Journal
The Capunet is one of the top three dishes I've had all time.
by Nick J.
The homemade pasta, Tajarin with butter and sage might be the best pasta I've ever had. So good!
by Jeff P.

Hands down the most spectacular food on Capitol Hill. Incredible!
by Tanja V.
Our favorite was the fine cut egg pasta with butter and sage -- delicious. The Swiss chard rolls & butter poached duck breast were also notable, as was the lemon curd dessert. Great wine selection.

Start with an aperitif of 1 part Cynar, 1 part carpano antics with a cheek of orange.
by Thomas Z.
Roasted cauliflower and anchovy ravioli was amazing. Don't let the anchovy intimidate you. It's an understatement at most.
by Oliver G.
Sit at the bar to you can watch the pasta being made. Beautiful! Try the Poached egg with fonduta and local black truffles and the Tajarin with butter and sage- a fine cut egg pasta. top 10 for sure!
by Trophy Cupcakes and Party
Sit at the bar so you can see the pasta being made. Beautiful! Try the Poached egg fonduta w/ black truffles and the Tajarin al burro e salvia, a fine hand cut egg pasta with butter and sage. Wow!
by Trophy Cupcakes a.
One of the best Italian places I have even been. Delish !
by Dariusz K.
The pasta alone is worth a trip to this pricey, recently expanded Italian eatery on Capitol Hill. But the rest of the menu lives up to the standard set by those glorious noodles.
by BestOf
the tajarin with ragu is a must do.
by Casey L.
The hearty cuisine of Italy’s Piedmont region—the marinated rabbit, the truffles, the big butter sauces—is impeccably, consistently thrilling at this rustic wood-hewn ristorante in Pike/Pine.

Spinasse specializes in food from the Piedmont area of Italy. Try the Pre-Fix menu the first time that you visit to sample the many great dishes that they offer.
by The International Recipe Syndicate
Best restuarant i know of.
by Lauren A.
Jonathan Hudak is the best bartender in my humble opinion... I think he wins over Fortuna just by sheer charm and mixology insight
by Lauren A.
Look for Adam Fortuna! He's pretty great with Italian-inspired cocktails, especially with those featuring Cocchi Americano. Fabulous ambiance, small dishes and music, too!

Jason Stratton has made the trattoria inexorably his own with memorable pastas and Piedmont-influenced fare. Plus its recent expansion makes it (slightly) easier to get a table. [Eater 38 Member]

Sit at the bar and watch the chef's!
by Judson S.
If you haven't enjoyed the tajarin w/ ragù or butter and sage, let me ask... Why do you hate life?
by Dave C.
You can't go wrong with just about anything on the menu, but the morels are especially delicious. And ask your server for a drink with Cocchi Americano!
by Ryan B.
Eating al fresco. Asparagus and trout salad is exquisite.
by Richard A.
Love love this place. Super friendly, cocktails are brilliant, spinasse chef but Italian mod interior. Try punctured bicycle.
by T K.
This might have been one of the most awesome meals we have had. And don't forget the delicious wine!
by Hotel M.
Loving the antipasta plates and desserts. You can also take baking classes, they're pricey but worth it, and fill up fast.
by Little L.
JASON STRATTON really did not want to prescribe meals for diners at his Piedmontese masterpiece, Spinasse; for him, choosing one’s own dinner is half the fun of dining out...
by Seattle Met
Eating at the wood-topped bar with a view of the kitchen and sharing family-style hand-cut egg pasta with butter and sage is about as close to Piedmont, Italy, as you'll get without a passport.
by Bon Appetit Magazine
A rustic little trattoria with a focus on Piedmont where very good antipasti, homemade pasta and entrees are eaten at communal tables. The food woos — and wows — with straightforward charm.
by The Seattle Times
Antipasto misto della casa is definitely the way to start...
by Anthony A
Rabbit meatball contorni! OMG!
