Cafe Poca COSA Reviews
Best Mexican restaurant in the United States. Hands down. Delicious. Please order the Poca Cosa platter!
by Abner A.
The menu changes daily but if they have the puerco or the green corn tamale they are phenomenal! And please get the pumpkin cheesecake...sheer perfection. Who'd a thunk Tucson could be so fancy?
by Elyse E.
Outstanding food and amazing margaritas. Not cheap but worth the $$

Unbelievable great flavors. Take a chance -- get what the chef has!

Order the chef's choice! Random assortment of 3 mini dishes!
Very good service, awesome variety of dishes and great tasty flavors!!
by Jorge A.
Just any FYI for any business travelers, this place does not take AMEX and would not split a check. Not customer service friendly in that manner. Otherwise, great food and service.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Tucson! They have delicious fresh juice and chips and salsa. There's mandatory hugs when you leave, which adds to the charm of this place!

Had the Chef's Choice Sampler. Wow. Incredible mexican fusion food. Incredible serving size for the price. Incredible cocktails. Incredible service. Did I mention this place is incredible???

Ah yes, calling for reservation with out of town number .... Sir, how does 4:30pm work? WTF. Arrive and then they try to seat us by bathroom. Call with local number. Please.

Got kids? Super kid welcoming and friendly!

I'm a chef and this place Is the best good in Tucson, i have to eat here almost every day I'm here, get the chef Plato :)
by Brett J.
Food was terrible and margaritas worse! I took friends from out of town and all four of us were very disappointed! Definitely never going back!
by Jacee S.
Whatever you eat here will be great. A must place to eat in Tucson
by Lizbeth C.
The pork was fabulous!!!
by Andrew C.
Likely one of the best salsas you can have in the continental US. And you get it as an appetizer for free! Amazing balanced flavours and attention to detail. very professional and respectful service.
by Brian F.
Upscale, casual dining in the downtown area...native flavors, a locals hot spot!
by Kathy V.
Loved the ambiance and food however, the service was lacking. They did not pour the bottle of wine that was ordered, it was just left on the table and they would not accommodate my nut allergy.
by Trish V.
The people with me loved their meated-meals. However, I am a vegetarian and their vege-options are really limited and the food was very unsatisfying. (Tasty, but not satisfying and with no protein.)
by G B.
Waitress was Rosie Perez from "white men can't jump". Good service, very very good food. Drinks were strong. The social aspect at the bar was great. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Tucson.
Worst food for vegetarians!! Period!!

Try the Chef's Choce (via @Foodspotting)

'Plato Poca Cosa' is the best!

Order the food; be happy.

Not friendly to single business traveler. No food service at bar and I sat watching open two seat tables. All cuz of chalkboard menu???
by Todd S.
If u have a larger group with kids, get the plato poca cosa.... maybe expensive but two of those and four people are feed, and u have extra!

Order a pitcher of white sangria, and share the sampler entree platter with a friend, for a most perfect evening.

Plato Poca Cosa. That's all you need to say.

So good - go straight for the special. I never understood what the big deal was with mole until now!
by Matt H.
Try the daily sampler (El Plato Poca Cosa) with three dishes selected by the chef. Wash the delicious gourmet Mexican food down with one of the margaritas.
by Mary M.
The coffee/horchata is bliss...
by Hershel C.
Save room for dessert.
by Liberty T.
Excellent service, try any of their margaritas (the one with vanilla sounds weird, but tastes amazing), order the chefs special because why would you know better than the chef what you want?
by Gordon B.
Try the plato poca cosa...you will never go wrong
by Amber B.
Seems ostentatious and trying a bit hard to be uber cool. Food presentation is a mess and again trying to hard. Simplify.
by Melanie S.
The best margaritas ever! Do the chef's choice menu. You won't be disappointed.
by Michelle G.
We had great service last night... plus fantastic food. Ditto on the Margarita.
by Pete N.
Gourmet Mexican food. Yes that's right. Menu is written on a chalk board and the lunch menu is not the same as the dinner menu. The sauces make the meals. Plus a darn delicious margarita.
by Amy K.
Great atmosphere and excellent presentation - try the house margarita!
by Effy C.
Don't look at the menu, just order the special and a drink and I can assure you you won't regret it!
by Mike C.
Great food. Bad service.
by Josephine M.
Best Gourmet Mexican food. An explosion of flavors in your mouth, menu changes daily so you know you're eating fresh.
by Iram G.
I never thought I'd describe a restaurant as "elegant Mexican", but I found it here. This upscale eatery had my group describing it as a delightful discovery. Our four meals were each fantastic.
by Paul C.
The food never disappoints! Truly gourmet mexican food with outstanding sauces and great margaritas. Service was a little slow but never crossed over to totally annoying!
by Amy K.
Wow. Bet you never had Mexican food like this. Classy, delicious, trendy and fun. Have the Chef's special, you will be amazed and delighted.
