I'm originally from Mexico and I can say the food here is delicious. The ceviche tradicional is more a peruvian fusion but is incredible. Tacos are made with real hand made tortillas. Try it!
by Rosario D.
Great cocktails and tacos.
by Taiowa W.
This place is amazing! The bar tender is on point and the guacamole is a must try
by Nicole M.
Fun neighborhood place, especially before a Caps game!
by Jacie S.

The Guacamela with tortilla chips are a must have. Excellent ambience, great vegetarian options and nice service. Will definitely visit again :)
by Kapil B.
love this place, but some of the bartenders are clueless. asked if I could get a mocktail; the bartender said yes and then walked away. asked another bartender, and he showed me the sodas. ?!?
by Maryann J.
This place can be a little pricey, but it's definitely worth it. I recommend going with a group of friends and sharing the bill. Get about four to five tapas and take in the zesty flavor of goodness.
by Nela L.
OMG!!!! Tastiness without any frills!!!!
by Jason H.
LOVE: colorful decor, energy; authentic Mexican dishes w/ an urban twist; attentiveness of staff. Try the tuna ceviche, chicken mole, mushroom taco, cochinita (pork) taco. Have jericalla for dessert!
by Margie H.
My first stop when I get off the plane for my FAVORITE margaritas! That luscious cloud of salt foam on top..makes my mouth water just thinking about it!
by Emily N.
Classic Margarita on the rocks is superb!
by Kimberlee M.
This Mexican playground from creator Jose Andres is a trailblazer. Thanks to recent expansion next door, it's also more comfortable than ever.

by Agustin E.
very good Mexican dishes! everyone should make a trip over here!
by Justin S.
Be wary or broken glass in your food... They use glass plates even when they are chipped!!!
The hot chocolate here is incredible and so is the pastel de tres leches con pina
by Kay-Anne R.
it's good but somewhat average. good items: ceviche, nopalitos, chicharron quesadilla. guac and margaritas are solid. decent service. one big thing: EVERYTHING IS TOO SALTY. at least for my taste.
by GABRIELA M.
Great food. The tacos however are the weakest items on the menu. Shrimp dishes are the best.
Try the Oyamel margarita with the salt foam 👌🍸
by Doug D.
Get the chef experience! Amazing tour of the menu.
by Alexandra B.
Great Mexican small plates. Get the avocado and beet salad.
by Becca L.
The tacos here are damn good. Entrees were a bit small, so skip those in favor of the tacos. Margs & Guac were top notch. Would recommend.
by Rick S.
Great food and service. Try the oyamel margarita with salt air, the freshly made guacamole and the beef tacos with spicy sauce.
by Riaz J.
Amazing food & cute decor. Get the albondigas, camarons, & ceviche. Wash it all down with a strong pitcher of the classic margarita.
by carla e.
Favorites like creamy guacamole, succulent short ribs, and fresh ceviches are lipsmackingly delicioso, and the potent margaritas make for a stylish way to wash it all down.
Get a margarita. Order 3-4 plates. And finish with Tres Leches
Waiter was MIA for most of the visit, but the food was good. The scallops with pumpkin seeds were cooked perfectly.
by Rebecca M.
You know you hate yourself when you shell out money for mediocre drinks you could have made at home. You will NEVER feel this way here. Even their simple basic margarita is amazing and a work of art!
by Angie P.
The refried beans are to die for! And the shrimp and quesadillas are great too
by Hayley P.
Hyped. Feels good to have a check mark against one Jose Andres restaurant. Few more to try.
by Krishna P.
Try Don's Margarita del Serrano. Just a hint of heat, but the Don Julio makes it so smooth.
by Bevin L.
Get the pitcher of Blood Orange Chile Piquin Margarita ! It makes much more sense and it's only $55.00 !
by Rodolfo D.
Amazing guacamole, fish tacos and shrimp with garlic. Go with a group so you can try lots of dishes. And definitely order a margarita.

Outside table, must! House specialty "Oyamel" margarita must! Go taco crazy...
by Igor O.
Everything is great! Wouldn't recommend the papas fritas (fries). Save some room for tacos. YUM! Sitting by the ceviche bar is nice if it's just 2 of you so you can avoid the wait for a table!
by Vicki D.
Awesome food tapas style that will still leave you full. A little salty but still delicious.
by Nisha D.
Outside seating is nice! And the enmolada de guajalote is awesome. Ceviche is great

Beef tongue taco is amazingly tender! The pork belly taco and fresh guacamolemolemole is good too. Check out their Day of the Dead menu (around Halloween) for Mayan twists using seasonal ingredients!

2 thumbs up.
by Jon M.
Order the brussel sprouts.
Cheese with chorizo. A must!
by LuisAlfredo Z.
Three to four small plates will fill you up. Overall the food is very good, but they add just a bit too much salt to each dish.
by Jared K.
This place can fit right in manhattan it's trendy and bright colors made the place alive. The cocktails were great and Guacamole made in front of you. Little pricey, but great twist on Mexican food
by Erik C.
The Honeydew Punch w| tequila is really good. Its clean and refreshing.
by Diana P.
"Sacrifice" cocktail is absolutely unreal.
by John D.
Get the chips and guac!!!! The chips are A+++
Don't eat here. Poor quality.
by Chaz C.
Jose Andres and his team innovate at levels beyond expectation. The tapas program allows for broad taste experience. Do the tasting menu and let the servers be your guide. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu)

Strawberry Avocado mimosa is Awesomesauce.
Black Bean Soup. The best! Also, all the tacos are great.
by Helena N.
The guacamole is superb, with I believe green bell pepper and quest fresco cheese on top. The mezcal and other tapas are very good too, including the chalupas with duck… (3 of 4 petals via Fondu)
by Patrick M.
I live so close I want to love this place, but alas- always leave disappointed. Service poor, portions small but they do have an unrivaled, awesome menu and stellar location.
by Katherine K.
Jose Andres Mexican restaurant. Everything is fantastic. Get the margarita with air.
by Leigh F.
Check out the duck confit
by Darcy J.
The salt air over powers the drinks...other wise this is a pretty awesome place to eat.
by Amani L.
by Mark H.
Try the Albondigas Enchipotladas con Queso Doble Crema (via @Foodspotting)
Tenga chicken, BBQ pork, and fish tacos; perfection! And the tortilla chips and salsa are also fantastic!
by Crystal B.
Their portions are small, it was Valentines day so I couldn't leave.. somewhat pricey.. it was an experience prolly wont be back.
by Zach M.
If you're at the bar ask for Amin. Wicked nice and makes the best drinks ;)
by Jennifer Z.
Jose Andrea just shook my hand!
Everything here is delicious! You can't go wrong. :)
by Sara A.
I love tapas. And this was some of the best tapas I've ever had. FABULOUS. Also, restaurant week menu was very food allergy (GF) friendly!! Great service as well
