Jack's Restaurant & Bar Reviews
Service isn't great, but the foods amazing! Get the flat bread with the Turkish sausage - you won't regret it. 30 prefix is the way to go.

Never eat here. Worst service ever. Staff is rude as hell they deserved to be chased off 17th. Will not allow anyone I know to eat there.

Small portions, over priced, nice atmosphere, good food.

Love this place
Tomato soup is delicious and comes with nice airy Mediterranean bread
Try one of the German beers on tap!
by David B.
Try the Mimosa - Bottomless mimosas for brunch at Agora. (via @Foodspotting)
by Ben B.
The food at Agora could not be more authentic if the restaurant was in Istanbul. Be sure to order lots of meze!

The OCTOPUS! I'm not sure what they do, but it's a fresh seafood flavor mixed with a hint of BBQ. Amazing.

Alan is awesome!

Delicious! Trout, adana kebab, spinach among the best I've had for Turkish food. Not sure why people didn't like the service. Ours was great.

Bitches Say A. Great brunch deal, chic atmosphere, lovely patio for summertime. Not every dish is a win, but enough are to make this great.

by Gina R.

Great food, and a hidden brunch gem--no wait and reasonable prices.
by David F.
Great place for a date or casual girl's night. Try the htipiti and the chef's borek.

Small plates are bigger than you think!
by Clancey B.
Excellent food. The service was pitiful. I would go back again, but might be cautious because I left a paltry tip. The waiter was awful!!!!!
by Mark L.
We Love DC recommends you try the Raki, Turkey's national drink. Combining the flavors of aniseed and distilled fruits, the drink also pairs well with several dishes.
Had dinner here last night. The cuisine is delicious & well prepared, the service is atrocious.
by Jason M.
Careful 1/2 bottle of ouza is $50! Menu placement makes it look like that's a full bottle... Choice is actually glass, 1/4btl, 1/2btl.
Agora features chef Rasit Gulsen, who’s put together a simple Mediterranean menu, heavy on grilled seafood. Simple pleasures.
It's obvious that The previous negative comments are from people that don't know beer. Were they expecting a bud light? The beers are Pere Jaques and Matilda. And the prices are very good for them
