Brunch: The service left a bad taste mainly cause the bottomless mimosas felt like they had a bottom about an hour in...

Reminds me of L'Entercote

The steak, salad & frites or as us Americans like to call it "Fries" are by far the best in the city! I love this place it is a great spot for a group of friends to meet and have a easy dinner!
by Lindsay P.
It was delicious. We got the prix fixe menu and it more than enough. Definitely recommend this place

Best steaks I ever ate ..but make your Lemonade sweeter :-)

Don't come with large parties

This place either doesn't have or doesn't use air conditioning, which sucks when it's 90 degrees outside.
by Ryan H.
Good. Not great. My portobello and steak was so salty.
by Janine H.
I recommend ordering the steak...medium rare. Also make sure to order the side salad and bread

The lasagna is amazing! Get it with veal!

Little did i know i was entering DC's Entrecôte. An absolute must!
Loved the Concept! Dinner and Dessert were excellent. Pepe Le Pew speaking french in the bathroom was hillarious. I will definitely visit again and recommend. You must enjoy a noisy atmosphere.

Tip for vegetarians: Order the off-menu vegetarian option.

A) there's a secret vegetation option B) ask for the "spiked" hot fudge sundae for dessert .... That is all ;)
Order the Culotte-Frites cause its the only thing you can order. #faketrecôte

For them to rave about how the french toast is soaked for 24 hours, I thought I wouldn't need syrup. Wrong. Sausage had no taste to it whatsoever. Bottomless mimosas & bazooka gum were a plus though.

Try the Medium Well Steak - Apparently the change the sauce recipe ever so often. Delectable (via @Foodspotting)

Fantastic food- excellent service! 4 star bathroom- what more could you need?
by Susan B.
To quote my dining partner, "we've eaten way worse for way more!" Tasty steaks, reasonable prices.

One of the best places in Cleveland Park. It's simple steak frites. The service is great and the food us excellent.....Bravo

Learn French pick up lines in the bathroom

I would recommend a bottle of Malbec, specifically the "Simona Moenaert Estate" from Argentina. If you're not in the mood for wine, I would then suggest the Avery IPA, one of my personal favorites.
by Kenneth W.
One of the best tasting sauces I've had at a meal. The fries are a great way to clean your plate and not leave any behind!
by Jorge G.
Grandma's apple pie with vanilla ice cream is a good way to end a great dinner!
by Behrad B.
The bazzoka Joe bubblegum with the check is a nice surprise!
by Simy B.
Best part by far is the bathroom that reads off pickup lines in French
by Mark B.
Honestly, for $20, you won't find a better tasting steak, fries, salad and bread in DC
by DC After Five
The French Toast at brunch is made with the same amazing bread they serve at dinner. It's got a great outside crunchiness with doughy soft inside!
by Tammy G.
The delivery of your cooked-to-order steak and fries, in two rounds, ensures that you enjoy your whole meal at just the right temperature.
Cab sav from chateau smith is excellent. Rioja is okay. Delicious steak for price. Gravy is the best.
by Kat L.
So simple and wonderful. LOVE it, and they have a vegetarian option!
by Catherine C.
Order the chocolate cake...it's enough for five people!
by Beth P.
Delicious. Excellent place to take date. Haven't been here for brunch but heard there are bottomless mimosas. Here's a link to the menu: http://www.mediumrarerestaurant.com/

The carrot cake is delicious!

Come early, choice of outdoor seating...love the bread.
by Georgetown Bagelry
The steak is good--not great. But the fries/gravy and chocolate cake are AMAZING!
by Patten W.
Great place to take a date. Steak is great. Delirium tremens on tap for the win.
by Gabriel A.
They serve a set menu so if you're not looking for variety this is the place for you.
by Kenneth W.
Amazing food, great atmosphere and unbeatable price.
by David W.
Come here if you want to shout at your date. Small dining area + loud bground music = Can't hear my date sitting 2 feet away, and this was on a Tues! Can't imagine what Fri. Nite sounds like...
by Dan C.
This place is great if you like paying an extraordinary price for an ordinary meal. They make their money by nailing you on extras. The high point was the poor inattentive service. 2 out of 5 stars.
by Dan C.
This is quite possibly one of the best places in DC to go on a date. Great food at a reasonable price! http://bit.ly/dE24bM
