    For my main course I had the short rib pappardelle ($17.95) I loved, loved, loved this dish! braised short ribs, wild mushrooms, toasted pine nuts in a cafe au lait sauce. The short rib was cooked to perfection, and the noodles were al dente. Big pieces of cremini mushrooms were a nice touch. Cremini mushrooms are as meaty and tasty as portobello, but the size of button mushrooms. Just delicious.

    Everything from the smell of fresh baked goods to the friendly smiles of the staff draws you in. The atmosphere is welcoming and non-pretentious. The display of beautiful decorated cakes and cookies delight you. We knew we had to have a nibble of something!

    Veal piccata is one of my tests of a good Italian restaurant. Because the veal is sliced so thinly, if not carefully prepared it can taste quite tough or rubbery. This piccata was perfectly cooked, tender and delicate and the lemon sauce was just right.
