    Take someone with you who really knows food, because none of us recognized anything on the menu except what we ordered (which was fabulous). The next time I will ask my server for his suggestion and just go for it.

    A New York style feel to this place, right on the banks of the Riverwalk. It was very busy with several large parties, so the food delivery was quite slow, even if you were on vacation with no place to go. The menu was quite good, changing daily I believe, and the desserts were worth the wait. There is a Chef's table with a good view of the kitchen seperated from the rest of the dining room by hanging white sheets; sounds funny but it works.

    A most unusual building. You enter the ground floor in the back of the building to a big open and vacant area with only a greeter. He shows you to the elevator which delivers you to the dining room. The upstairs is one big open room with nothing to divide the tables from one another, no greenery, and not much on the walls. And yet it is a very cozy and elegant space. The lighting illuminates each table from above, but without glare, giving the appearance of soft candlelight. It shouldn't be this nice, but it is. Good selection of wines by the glass. Manager David Eager was helpful with selections of wine and suggestions for dinner. Chef Mark Bliss' e-mail address is RokRolChef@aol.com. Must be a story there. This restaurant is not looking for the tourist customer, but many will find it because it's highly rated.

    I actually wanted to come back here the next night, and I almost never do that. This was a very nice romantic evening. A very comfortable room, warm is the word. Snapper and sea bass were tasted, and they were EXCELLENT.

    Your waiter Wally from Bierut will take you through a perfectly paced dinner. Not too slow or fast, but just right. This restaurant serves chateaubriand and rack of lamb for two. Ask for a window seat by the waterfall

    Chef Billy Grant is on his way to the James Beard House to present a dinner, but he gave us (including Aunt Karen) a preview.; lobster & crab salad, seared sea scallops with sweet pea risotto, sea bass and Jamison Farm rack of lamb, a trio of desserts and wine pairings throughout. Billy's motto is 'Eat and live well always'. WE DID!!!

    This is the original; I understand now there are several. One of the first 'celebrity chefs', Mark Miller has made his name at this restaurant which, by the way, is on the second floor. You don't see that very often.

    The service can be questionable.....We stayed at the Territorial Inn next door (highly reccommended) and several guests had noted their displeasure with the service in a journal concerning restaurants that the Inn maintains. We had no problem with the food or service. This is a nice place to spend, and I do mean spend, an evening.

    This restaurant is in a botique hotel of the same name. I had probably the best piece of beef ever. Right in town, an easy walk from wherever you are staying. A good wine list to go with the substantial food coming from this kitchen....and....I understand they will be opening another restaurant in the new Alladin in Las Vegas.

    This is another one of those tiny places that will lose their appeal if they expand; I hope they don't. Cozy, solid food, prices are higher than the description given at this site. Arrive early in order to find parking.

    Excellent service, good to very good menu. Veal scalloppini and lamb chop (rack) were sampled. Several good wines by the glass. A very good value for $90 for two, and adjacent to Lord of the Dance Theatre.

    Spago is a must go. Our veteran waiter has never seen the famous chef, but it is obvious that Wolfgang Puck has his hands on this place. We had both dining experiences, in the Cafe with great people watching and the more formal dining room. Jacket not required, but not out of place either, though not many wear a jacket to dinner in Vegas. The dining room has several levels, some booths and some nice tables for two. The kitchen is open and the restaurant has a two foot square freezer, so everything if fresh.

    A hands on Chef/Owner. When he goes on vacation...they close. You will get to meet your neighbors...there's no room between you and them. This makes for a lot of fun if you're ready for it

    A special event place. Take the high speed ferry from Hyannis (1 hour), order your favorite wine, the warm lobster salad and the grilled veal chop; return on the late boat. About $300 but worth every penny!!~
