This Taco Bell is a joke! It's way too small and normally overcrowded with ill-mannered people. Jimmy Johns is next door! So go there for a more pleasant experience!!!

    Dear TACO CORPORATE OFFICE:

Please re-build this Taco Bell to accommodate customers better. It's way too small, and does not appear safe. People are always forced to stand too close to one another, or stepping on your toes trying to get to the register to place an order, and to get to the other side for sauces, etc... What a horrible set-up! I have a suggestion... How about everyone from the Taco Bell's Corporate Office eat lunch at this location so you all can experience what we (Evanston) people go through. ***CHANGE IS WHAT WE NEED!!!***

On Tuesday, 2/15/2011, was our 2nd time eating at this restaurant. The environment is okay, not great! It's way too dark and boring...This was the worst experience ever! My guest and I decided to order meatloaf dinner(s) and 2 root beers. We normally love meatloaf, and thought we should try it. When the food arrived, they brought out only (1) plate of meatloaf, and placed an empty plate on the other side of the table. My dinner guest and I were totally confused because we told the waitress to order 2 meatloaf dinners not 1, and 2 root beers. She told me when I placed the order I stated we were going to split it. I told her that is not what I told her. She did not apologize, which I felt the error was unacceptable. They finally brought out the other plate, but my guest had already eaten. And to make matters worst, the meatloaf was absolutely HORRIBLE! It tasted like it was a week old! It lacked flavor and was drenched in barbecue sauce place over a small portion of mashed potatoes with 2 packs of cold butter. I wasn't even given a dinner roll to go with the butter, or a salad or a vegetable. This was the worst meatloaf I have ever eaten, and would not recommend it at all! The waitress and another waitress standing by gave me dirty looks as if I didn't belong there. The Manager was kind enough to remove charges for one dinner, but my guest and I felt this was one of the worst dinners we have ever eaten. The waitress avoided our table after messing up our night. She could have offered us a sincere apology, instead of lying on us, or maybe offer a free dessert to smooth things over. We ended up leaving the restaurant holding on to the receipt fearing the thoughts of getting ill from eating that OLD tasting meatloaf, which was only good for the garbage! So, EVANSTON... warning...do not order the MEATLOAF! You will regret it if you do! Also, you get only 2 pieces of old meatloaf and a little mashed potatoes for $10.95. What a horrible over priced entree!

On Saturday, 2/5/2011, I went into the restaurant and begin placing my order to go, and the hispanic woman at the cash register told me they were closed, and that they close at 2:30pm. I indicated to her that when I walked into the restaurant the time was 2:23pm, which means they were open for business. After she was done telling me there business hours and rules, she allowed me to place an order. I thought for a moment, Wow, is it that serious to be so rude to a customer? I then asked to speak with a Manager. And to make matters worst, she stated she was the Manager. FYI, there is a tiny sign on the front door indicating business hours, but no sign at the register, plus the door was totally unlocked! This Manager needs to get some real training and a better attitude! Also, once I got my food, it was totally thrown together and very messy! McDonalds would have treated me better than that. Le Peep, you should avoid treating customers like garbage! We pay the bill that keeps those doors open, not you!
