  Lunch is typically a much better experience than dinner, where it is way overcrowded (even with reservations, expect to wait.) I continue to frequent this place because of the food, but I'm not crazy about the management. I had a birthday event and requested a cake to the manager and he seemed to have forgotten. Needless to say, it was a disappointment. But if you want good food and are in the area, definitely a recommend for lunch time.

  A no frills northside restaurant with helpful staff to guide you thru their tasty international fair. Communal plates, ethiopian beer, and the inexpensive cost add up to a great experience. And to top it off, if you become a regular, you can just say `set me up` and they will pick the menu for your group. very good stuff

  One of our favorite family, sort of, bars with awesome pizza, Bije's features their exceptional 'zza like it was 2nd nature. Excellent cheese and usually a yellow thin crust should be devoured as soon as out of the ovens, which is why we're always there over a pitcher of beer and some munchies. Lots of TVs going with whatever games are on. Tucked away and a secret fav hangout; when bands play, the lines are crazy, so get there early.Mark Braun Food Industry News

  Disorganized and dirty, The plate my steak arrived on was chipped, ( a HUGE chunk was missing). I ordered Cabernet, and was served Lambrusco. My sons ordered Coke and Root Beer and were served Pepsi. The bathrooms were filthy. After everything the waiter informed me he 'was ENTITLED to a 15% tip). I informed him that we were 'Entitled to at least 15% service'. This place was neither busy nor was the food good. I am typically a 20-25% tipper, but the $1.70 I gave this waiter was too much.   My wife has always wanted to go to Tru and so we went with her sisters last weekend.Everything was great! We all went for the $95 3 course menu. The food was one delightful surprise after another with many things between the courses. The first course is an appetizer (you choose from six lines), next is an entry (again a choice of six) and the last is either a dessert or cheese selection. The staff was extremely nice and pleasant. The decor was very elegant but maybe not as warm as I might have liked, and we couldn't find the restaurant at first because we could not see sign. But overall, this has been one of the most memorably and best dining experiences we have ever had.
