One of the World's BestTru is by far the most exquisite, impressive dining experience my wife and I have had in years (and we had just been to CT's). The cuisine was absolutely flawless and presented with such panache & style as to be breathtaking. The originality and creativity were spectacular. For food of such calibre, the portions were generous. Great cheese cart and stunning desserts, too. The service was impeccable and the ambiance scintillating. This place merits a 5-star rating! We have been to many top high-end establishments in the US and France (Michelin ***, etc.) and find that Tru beats them all.

Medici has nothhing on Florian!! The have great service here, the wait staff is cheerful and always there to joke with you, they apologize when things take too long, they get you your check on time, and of course the food is the BEST! Florian is great for a first date, or a casual dinner or lunch. Go there and spend your money!!!

The tiramisu is very good, but don't get the veal. The rotolo is the best entree on the menu that I have tried.

It is definatly an experiance but why so expensive?? Life is short and good things are priceless; but paying $ 75 a bottle for a wine which retails at a local store for $ 12 is a crime. The food is good at TRU but over priced a party of 6 cost me a little over $1300.00. That is a lot and eventhough it was a pleasant experiance, But by no means justified the cost. If I had to rate the food I would give it 8/10, thr service 10/10 ambiance 7/10 and value 6/ 10.

A bit upscale sushi, upstairs has dim lighting, very good for intimate nights. serves great sake too. You pay more for the place rather than food. But taste is still competitive.

This is the best restaurant in Chicago. If you are a meat and potato lover this is your place. Their red skinned mashed potatoes are incredible and their BBQ chicken and steaks are delicious. The smell when you walk in is heavenly. Leave room for dessert they bring you a tray with all items on it to choose from. When we eat downtown, this is the place we go to every time.

Ron of japan is a wonderful restaurant that my family and I have been going to for at least 15 years now. We go there whenever in Chicago and recommend Ron's to friends often.
