Great Seafood enchiladas. The fajitas are great too. The chicken have a great flavor. They also have a banana split dessert that comes with an almond bark that is heavenly. YUM YUM.

I visited Irene's last summer, and the wait was long but the staff was freindly and the food was great.

Food was not up to reputation - overpriced. Ate at Mr.B's which was much better.

This was the worst dining experience of my life. There were three other women with me. We had reservations, but that did not seem to matter because we waited over one hour and still had not been seated. We finally made a scene and got the manager's attention. He proceeded to seat us at the worst table in the place. We just got up and left. I cannot consider this fine dining. I have better luck at the Outback Steakhouse. We did however have wonderful food at The Grill Room at the Windsor Court and at the Metro, which was right around the corner from the Hotel.

Good neighborhood atmosphere despite being busy nearly every night. Sometimes a line, but it moves quickly. Food is usually great, but occasionally there's an off-night. Highly recommended.

A very nice restaurant that, without really trying, has a feel that can - with a little imagination - transport you to Havana. Food is good, and a change of pace from the usual New Orleans offerings.

A sub shop in the mold of Subway that delivers. Better, fresher sandwiches than Subway. Great for a late-night snack.

Great food and service. I had the Norman (sheepshead smothered w/crabmeat etouffe)tasty, creamy, scrumtious and my wife had the jumbo fried shrimp (large tasty and fried just right). Can't go wrong.

Herbsaint was very disappointing. We were seated in a bench with 10 inches between diners-absolutely no personal space or elbow room. The wine list was very disappointing-they offered several french chardonnay selections and only 1 Napa selection-which we prefer. The fish special was sea bass-which I sent back. No respectable seafood market or even grocery store in Louisiana would have even sold a piece of fish with that poor quality. It was nothing but skin and blood lines, no white fish was to be found in the $24 entree that was 3x3 inches in size. The salad was edible, but similar to the bag salads you can buy at any Winn Dixie. The service was good, attentive and apologetic. That was the only positive of the entire meal. For my $100, my partner and I left hungry and wondering how this restaurant is surviving-I suppose having a recognizable chef is all it takes. The Brennan and Besh restaurants do not have anything to worry about-Herbsaint will have few if any return customers.

The best ever, Susan Spicer is a genius with original and subtle seasoning. We have eaten here many time for lunch or dinner. If anybody can beat her, we don;t want to know about it.

We ordered the Taste of New Orleans and were pleasantly suprised and pleased. Though the jambalaya was a little more chickeny then even I care for, the ettoufe was to die for and the red beans and rice were great. We stopped by to pick up another order to take back with us when we departed New Orleans. Prices were very reasonable compared to similar places in the city. Service was friendly and affable. Atmosphere was hole in the wall quaint and pleasant. A find that we will return to next trip.
