Way too overpriced. People must like to be ripped off, the way they fill this place.

I have been coming to this restaurant for 20 years. Now, I think Twin Achors is very expensive at 19.95 for ribs. We have stopped going.

I went to Green Dolphin Street the other night with several friends. Boy were we thrilled when we entered the front doors. The music had just begun in the club and the place was hopping. Now I must say I was wondering what kind of food this place was going to serve. The words `Marvelous`, `Adventurous` and downright `Savory` come immediately to mind. To think that there aren't more places that can pull off the combination of great music and great food in one place. We'll be back

Part 1 (of 2) Do NOT have your large party here. These people CANNOT BE TRUSTED. Over two months ago, I did research on the internet, looking at private party rooms. After considerable time, I decided on 160 Blue, because of the large round table (allowing all revelers to sit “together”), and also, because of the separate, private bar/lounge. I called the restaurant, spoke to Troy Wiese, made the reservation, signed some paperwork, and put down a deposit (by fax). I communicated a few times with Wiese during this period, about the nature of the big round table, and that I wanted a special cake, etcetera…. The day before the party, I received a call from Troy Wiese. He said, “sorry, we are going to have to cancel your party, there was a water main break, the restaurant will be closed for the next few days.” I threw a minor fit. He said he would try and get us in somewhere else. But then, Wiese calls back a few minutes later and says, “Don’t worry, it will be fixed, everything is fine.” I should have taken that as the harbinger of doom. Saturday, my 13 guests and I arrive at the restaurant for an 8pm party in the private dining room and private lounge. We are led into the main bar area. I ask the “manager” what is happening. She (I didn’t get her name) says, “oh, you are in the main dining room.” I get visibly angry. She is more concerned that I not get angry at her, than that a customer is angry and unsatisfied. She says nothing can be done at this point. So, we wait at the bar well past our reservation time, while they are setting something up. What am I supposed to do, try and take a party of 14 to a different restaurant, at 830pm Saturday night? At one point during this time, she comes back to me, and shows me a filled out form, signed by me, that purports to show that I agreed to the main dining room (there is the term “MDR” in a spot on her form), and thus, she implies this debacle is somehow MY fault. Part 2 (of 2) Well, an hour later, the party of 14 was seated, in a long row, against the wall. Instead of a big round table, where all could interact, it was a long table, where few could interact with others. And, against the wall, so of course, when those inside needed to use other facilities, it was a hassle to plenty of those around them, sliding out, etc. Fortunately, I have terrific family and friends, and everyone tried to make the best of it. As if this debacle wasn’t bad enough, at the midpoint of the meal, the manager walks by the table and sees I am smiling and makes a snide comment about how everything must be all right, cause I am apparently having a good time. I say this is in spite of the restaurant, not because of it. So, I spent a thousand bucks to have an average party, in a setting I purposely would have avoided, had I known. Apparently, the restaurant knew about the snafu when Troy Wiese tried to cancel me out, lying, citing a “water main break, and the restaurant closed But they would rather lie and defraud their customers than have honest dealings. These people have no integrity. In this case, either they double booked the party room, or they discovered the “mistake” the day before, and tried to cancel on me by using the “water main break” lie, or they bumped me at the last minute for someone else. These people are FRAUDS and LIARS, DO NOT give your party business to these UNRELIABLE people. PLEASE go to any other of the many fine private party rooms, in the fine restaurants in this city. DO NOT patronize this bunch of thieves. Oh wait, they did give me the dessert for free. But then, they did spell my name wrong on the cake.

We had a dreadful experience here on 9/22. Marche has not been busy lately-even on popular dining nights. This trend could be due to the unacceptable service & food quality. 1. A waiter who forgot our opening dish (pate plate) and made up a lame excuse about it still being plated 20 minutes later; long for a cold plate, eh? 2. A 2” twig in my French Onion soup3. the waiter delivered the wrong steak dinner; Bistro Steak instead of the Steak Frites4. an extraordinarily dry, spit-roasted chicken that came highly recommended by the waiter. The waiter’s excuse was “sometimes it comes dry like that”. Then why did he recommend it??5. a manager who did absolutely nothing when told of these complaints6. a management company that also did nothing when I e-mailed these complaints the next day. This restaurant is just begging to be closed. It would not be missed.

It's a neighborhood favorite of ours, because it's like eating in your own home. We have been going to Roselli for over 20 years. You get plenty to eat; it's a good value for your money, service is great and their pizza is, in our opinion, the best in the city!

Hands down, Wishbone has the best cheese grits north of the Mason/Dixon line. Coupled with some eggs and blackened catfish and you'll have the perfect weekend breakfast!Great restaurant, notable service, tight quarters, and good Mimosas. What more could you want?

I am a frequent customer. I was introduced the first time after Kabuki was named as one of Chicago’s top 15 by Chicago magazine. I wanted to go someplace special since I was celebrating a milestone in my life, so it made sense to go. It wasn’t as swanky as some other places, but I liked it. We got a couple makis. My favorite was the spider maki — very good. We also got an order of one of their noodle dishes-Nabi udon, which I also highly recommend, but in the summer heat, an order of soba hits the spot.
